One other possibility. Do you bel;ong to any groups that have deeded land? Are all the land parcels still there?
It used to be that if a parcel of land was sold, and was groupo owned, all gropp members split the proceeds of the sale. Yoyr mysterious stranger may have bought a group-owned parcel of land, and that was 'your cut'.

They're not "evil", and there are useful things that you can do with "camping chair" type devices (for example, as a store dummy, or an NPC in a game). But I've yet to see one of these described as a "camping chair"... they're more in the nature of a job.
Setting out camping chairs to prop up your traffic is no different from buying votes or paying people to "boost your rating" in google. I can't picture anyone with integrity running them, period. |
