Exactly. The greatest possible insult to a man--whether it's offered playfully or with genuine hostility--is to refer to him as Female, or with female-related terms.

THAT's what makes it gender-political.

No no calling each other a C*nt is not about gender, I promise you. when a hetrosexual guy wants to insult a friend they insinuate the friend is homosexual, silly? most definitely but c*nt isn't about feminising the guy.

That's MUCH better. (just ribbin' you. )

Anyway, in general, it's always interesting when things are one-sided (a la when men routinely insult each other with female references, but women don't routinely insult each other with male references.)

For instance, do gay men, say, tend to comically-insult each other by referring to them as Heterosexual? (I don't know but my guess is that they, too, use Female references rather than Heterosexual Male references.)

When someone from SCII visited your cannibal restaurant, your adult response was, IIRC, to accuse them of stalking your restaurant. ;)

Don't go changing because the forums are closing dear:-)

Of course you can justify people refusing to discuss what they wrote in a forum by comparing it to something (you made up) that has absolutely nothing to do with discussing forum postings in-world.

I have recieved IMs, gmails, skypes and google talks regarding forum postsings. I discuss - not mute. Why communicate in a forum if you do not want to communicate? Stand by your words - no matter where you are.

The issue is manners Pep, to swear in context you need to be literate.
If you need to swear then you have failed intellectually.

Pep (Whatever the context.)

PS The worst insult to either gender is to liken them to a female; that says something, doesn't it. ;)

And yet, the "welcoming committee" happily plays a game thread, Let's play what would you do.

Cack, indeed.
Uggh. What drivel. But clearly more important to Lexie than anything halfway serious like Lindal's post.

In my part of the US the C word is the, be all end all insult to a woman.
The only thing to follow the C word is slaps and hair pulling.
Pretty much the same in my part too. Kind of the next step beyond bitch. Female to female mostly. Some of my gay male friends use it in odd ways though.
