I have just been exposed to the worst experience of support in world from a "Linden" and I would like to formally complain, how do I do that?

No Linden has ever made a mistake or distorted information. They are all, by any practical definition of the words, foolproof and incapable of error.

Don't bother.

I suppose you could contact Catherine or Robin. Both are very helpful and will listen to you.

Have chat/IM logs ready. Also consider that the Linden you dealt with may not have the same first language as you do. Combine that with written word minus visual expression, and you could very well have a misunderstanding.

Yeah, my wife has too :mad:, teleported just outside her workshop while she was working on a skin and god-summoned her right to him to ask a few questions about an avatar she was selling.

Ugh thats not good.

The instance I had was partly my Partner's fault since she was complaining to him via IM, he decided to show up unannounced without asking if he could at that point tho.

Claimed hed been working on the Teen Grid too much lately, lol :)

I think that the best person to goto would be Char Linden. Robin is moving back to marketing, if I recall correctly, but I know she will at least listen to you and point you in the right direction.

This is how you complain about a Linden:

"That son of a bleep screwed me over and I'm mad as heck!"

this happens a lot when you reach somebody (Linden or otherwise) through Live Help/Request. You'd think they'd ask first. It's the obvious, polite thing to do. A couple of Lindens went plummeting from 600-700m up before now because I just happened to be flying that high when they teleported in, unannounced.

If I call them up on something that might require them to be there, I have no problems at all with them showing up.

hehe

I wasnt even talking to the Linden

Lol - word to the wise, if your talking to a Linden make sure everyone near you is dressed.

Course it was probably worth it.

I can honestly say a Linden saw me naked - in my bedroom. :p
Makes pretty good party conversation.

Just want to make sure I got this right..... you were naked, and your partner was complaining to a Linden?

Cause for me, there's nothing like complaining to a Linden to get me in the mood with my partner.

When I was very new, I was trying to change my shoes in PG in front of a Linden, my top went flying off. OMG I said so sorry and turned my back on him. He merely gave me a smile and said no problem for him.

Killing Threads
04-13-2007 11:09
Can we delete or lock this thread please? It's seems clear that it's a killed thread.

It was killed back on page 1 when Colette Meiji started posting. Tired of seeing this thread pop-up on page 1 of Resident Answers without getting any better. There are more important threads that need front page space rather than one about Colette Meiji being naked with her partner.

*******************************From the contact info
Toll-Free Support Line

If none of the above resources can help, give us a call! We have toll-free support lines staffed during our office hours: 9am-6pm PST, Monday through Friday (we are shrinking our hours just a bit in anticipation of more extensive live phone service in the near future).

* 1-800-961-6851 (US and Canada)
* (00) 800 722 00010 (UK)
* (0011) 800 722 00010 (Australia)

Direct number (not toll-free) is available worldwide:

* +1 (703) 462-1695
***********************************

I suggest asking for a different Linden than the one you are complaining about.

Then look over it... look the other way... jump over it.... hide from it... ignore it?

There is NOT MUCH more important then to have a good laugh or to giggle about something.

Morwen, thread hijacker since many years.
