However, stools and benches work better than chairs and couches with backs. Sitting on one's tail hurts. I've always said someone needs to design tail friendly furniture. At first I was disturbed when my tail poked through the back of a chair, but I got used to it over time. Still don't like it though. ha ha. Pillows with nice poses are good! The biggest issue with furries is the hair in the shower drain if you have them sleep over. That's what Draino is for! giggle. Hey how do you pronounce Neko anyway (now I sound like folks asking about MY avatar's name ![]() Is it "NEE-ko", "Nek-oh", or "Nay-ko"? o.O My avs' name is pronouced "ZEE-oh" BTW, ![]() Two camps. Neh-ko or Nay-ko. The "e" in Japanese is usually (someone correct me if I'm wrong) pronounced "ay" in Japan and yet "eh" in the West. But I'm not sure if there are special rules with combinations of other alphabet letters. I'm hoping someone wiser can speak to this. Although I do know that the singular and plural for "neko" is "neko"... no "s". Regarding fur and neko friendly items. Voodoo Island, Neko's Obsession, Kayli Latrell's shelf sitters are fun (http://uncensored.slexchange.com/modules.php?name=Marketplace&file=item&ItemID=416433). So is her laundry basket and kitty kube. _____________________

more nature stuff damnit, I'm so tired of bland modern settings... stools are nice too, my tail gets very uncomfortable when it's limited to being curled around one side in those silly monkey chairs.
Notes: Wemics are also known as 'cat centaurs', IIRC they are leonid in appearance. anglicized japanese words generally follow the convention of a = ah (as in Akane [Ah-kah-neh]) e = eh ( as in Edo [Eh-do, not Ee-doh], ay is generally at word ends, or a regional difference) i = ee (with other vowels, pronounced seperately) or sometimes a soft 'I' sound by itself (as in Ai [Ah-ee], or Shinto [schin-toh], sometimes unpronounced as in Sensei [Sen-say]) o = oh (as in Tokyo [Toh-Kyoh, not Toh-Kee-Yoh, although the difference is hard for some]) u = oo (as in Fuku [Foo-koo]) most consonants are the same as the english , and generally a vowel sounds with the consonant that it follows, if it follows another vowel it's generally pronounced as a seperate syllable, or at the very least a separate sound, consanants next to each other are usually pronounced together.... doubled vowels in this system usually mean to make the sound las longer (frequently you'll see Kawaii [Kah-wah-ee], where the vowels together seem to blend into a single syllable sounding more like (Kah-wa'ee) _____________________

It seems most fur related poses are cat (Neko) based. There are other non-human avis - I have a lover who has been known to be a horse from time to time. So let's expand the search then for just non human poses.
I am all for nature related stuff too- that would be awesome- any fur folk out there scripters? A |

Now that all makes sense since I've been pronouncing most e containing words correctly! Thank you. So easy to remember now. _____________________

A I think most are Cat and the whole Neko thing is popular because people see cats as sexy. I personally have always thought the "sexy" traits of cats are way over rated. Simple Reasons -They are only interested around that time of the month -They have Sandpaper Tongues. |

Still don't like it though. ha ha. I remember seeing a chair with an opening in the back for a tail long ago, perhaps in the FurNation mall, can't remember. I've been away from SL for too long, forgot all the shopping spots LOL |

Haha... from time to time your friendly neighborhood Black SL Biker has been known as a Nezumi (Rat) too ![]() ...and not the "cute" kind, I love rats, haha...it seemed pretty natural to make a rat avatar for SL, after seeing all the Nekos... I mean there's "Neko EVERYTHING", from belts with special cigarettes, mouse snacks, roasted rat snacks, catnip, not to mention that almost every single place targeting the grunge or...dystopian (I guess you could say) market pretty much uses Neko as a keyword... in SL, Nekos are much bigger than they were ever before! ...I think SL Neko culture has WAY surpassed the Manga and art it was inspired by...it's just natural for folks to include Nekos. BTW technically Nekos aren't "Furries" ...Let's see some more Rats/Nezumis...we're lonely ![]() _____________________

Ooh... found Catnip, Catch that Bird (or something like that) and Grooming ![]() I want the quad dance please...purrrrr_ty please... getting into the spirit of the thing. My Lost Feral avatars have several quad dances for the kitties, but I still haven't found separately sold quad dances. I mention this as I just got my leopards and last night I was dancing at a live music event. I was the only non-human there. The singer was the kind that likes commenting on the crowd, but he didn't say anything about the dancing snow leopard inches (ok feet, but I was the closest on the dance floor - which I stress because the host was sitting on the edge of the stage, and therefore I wasn't the closest to him). Oh, and nobody mentioned the kitty aspect of my avatar. I should probably change my signature here in the forums. Well- the hunt continues- checked a couple places over the weekend - bought a HUGE milk bath ![]() ![]() Test drive? Any of this for full kitty avatars? ![]() _____________________
