I'm throwing in another vote for Snapzilla. I <3 it. Much better than just leaving them in a folder on my computer where they never get seen. Plus with snapzilla, I can post them there and on flickr in an instant.

normally, I snapshot to disk, so this is new for me.. I'm still getting the feel for what's good.

I just know that lots of ads is a turnoff.. of course if it's mostly just for hosting purposes, and I can hotlink them to whatever HTML later.. then I guess the adds are tolerable

Click 'All Sizes' above the image and it will take you to a page which has links for several size versions of your image across the top...I think it defaults to 'Large' unless the image is less than 500px wide. If Large is the size you want, just scroll down a bit and there will be coded URLs for BBCode, html, direct link, and I think a fourth option. I can't check because Flickr is blocked from work. If you want a different size, click one of the links at the top (eg, Small, Medium, Original), then scroll down to find your URLs.

Ann, I am so glad I was reading this thread - I had never, um, taken the time to actually look at the info listed above the image...

I like to recrop and perhaps retouch little things in my pics before I put them on display, so straight Flickr works better for me at the moment...if Cris gives us an upload option at some point, that may change. We'd still need to be able to cross list the uploads though, because I have like a year and a half paid for on Flickr, due to a friend buying me a guest subscription after I already went Pro.

Another thing to consider is that a few months ago I tried to sign up for Flickr and it requires a Yahoo account to do that. No problem I thought right up until the Yahoo registrations process would not let me complete without giving them a valid credit card. No way am I giving them that info unless I plan to buy something which I do not plan to do at all. So I abandoned my signup and went to Snapzilla instead - no fuss, no credit card needed.
