Known Bugs:
  1. (DONE 1.0.2) Missing message when 0 is entered as the time for the AO stand time interval.
  2. (DONE 1.0.2) Buttons highlight wrong when bar is restored after a minimize under certain conditions
  3. (DONE 1.0.2) Color/alpha script missing in some copies because of a permissions bug causing lock ups.


Planned Upgrades:
  1. (DONE 1.0.4) [random:XX:YY] tag for macros. This command would pause the macro a random number of seconds between XX and YY.
  2. (DONE 1.0.3) [ao_off] / [ao_on] - Macro commands which would turn the built in animation override on and off.
  3. (DONE 1.0.3) [XX] / [whisper:XX] / [shout:XX] Macro command to say, whisper or shout commands on chat channels other than channel 0.
  4. (DONE 1.0.3) Landmarks - if drop a landmark into your EZ Animator and put the name into a macro it will use llMapDestination to display the location on the map.
  5. (DONE 1.0.3) Objects - if you drop an object into the EZ Animator and put the name of into a macro it will rez the object 2 meters in front of you. I will also make this compatible with the poofers I sell for the HUDDLES Poofer Pal. In order to do this, I'll need to add the targetting system I use in the poofer pal as well.
  6. (DONE 1.0.4) [rez_obj:X:Y:Z]Rez an object to a certain <X,Y,Z> position relative to you avatar.
  7. (DONE 1.0.3) [link_message:XX]Sends a link message within the HUD. This will be a potentially very powerful addition for scripters who wish to make custom scripts to drop into EZ Animator. I may make a few such scripts myself and distribute them.


Requested Features:
  1. (DONE 1.0.2) AO on/off button visible when minimized.

Expect an update tomorrow. Someone caught a permissions problem which is causing lock ups. Very easy for me to fix, but needs fixing right away, so I'll do it first thing tomorrow along with 1 or 2 other fixes if I can fit them in.

Todays Update:

  1. Fixed permissions error on color/alpha script
  2. Fixed missing message when entering 0 for stand time interval
  3. Fixed bug - no longer highlights "empty" buttons when restoring after a minimize
  4. Fixed texture
  5. Added AO on/off to minimized view
  6. Updated help notecard




^^ Look at the new button so you can turn your ao off and on when it's minimized!

If I understand correctly, you plan for the Deluxe version to be a merged Landmark, Poofer, and Animation bar? This would be great since I'm running out of HUD space also! *grin*

In a way yes, it will do it all eventually.

And with the ability to use link messages will mean that anyone who scripts can add their own scripts into as well making it as powerful as your imagination.

I'm really excited. I have a whole bunch of changes ready for version 1.0.3. Basically I've done everything on the "to do" list except for random pauses.

Landmarks, object rezzing, linked messages, built in animations for your AO if you don't have some already, and more. I want to sleep on it one more night and make sure everything is in order before I send it out. But there are some fun surprises coming for you if you own one of these.

I just made the update. You should get yours within the next 24 hours. Changes are listed below:

v1.0.3
  1. Added basic male and female animations for animation override.
  2. Added the following macro enhancements:
    1. [XX]Text - this command will say the Text on channel XX (channel number can be any valid integer).
    2. [whisper:XX]Text & [shout:XX]Text - whispers or shots on designated channel.
    3. [ao_off] & [ao_on] - turns your AO on or off.
    4. [link] & [link:XX] - Sends a link message within the EZ Animator to other scripts that you can write and drop into the EZAD.
    5. Landmarks can be added via a notecard list. When the name of a landmark is used from a notecard, your map will open and the location will be highlighted.
    6. Objects can be rezzed via a notecard list. When the name of an object is used from a notecard, the object will be rezzed 2 meters in front of your avi.
    7. Changed behavior of [repeat]. It is now ignored in macros when in dance or random modes (as is ao_off and ao_on).

If anyone notices any problems please notify me as soon as possible so I can correct the problem. Thanks :)

I have noticed lately that when there is a missing/mis-spelled animation in the AO config, the EZAO will complain about it in the open channel. Even if the field is blank, if you trigger that animation slot it will complain in open.

The bug part is I think it is not defaulting to the base action animations when you do not have a configured entry. The other part is it's complaining in open channel - if at all possible that needs to be a ownersay item.

Are you absolutely sure that the line isn't blank? I'm not sure what would happen if there are spaces in the blank line.

I'm going to test that.

If not, please drop a copy of the AO config notecard on me and I can trouble shoot it. There may be something subtly wrong with the config notecard that you are not seeing.

Time to think about a new update. Here are some of the features I'm thinking of adding/fixing:

First the fixes:
  1. Need to make sure that emotes/say on off channels works. Whisper and Shouts on off channels work, but not vanilla "llSay"
  2. Work in the latest version of the ZHAO script
  3. Eliminate those times when EZAD says "PLAY_THIS_MACRO"
  4. Tweak map destinations, so that it works more consistently.
  5. Stop it from moving when the EZAD is rezzed on the ground and you hit the minimze/maximize button.


New features:
  1. [random:XX:YY] tag for macros. This command would pause the macro a random number of seconds between XX and YY.
  2. [rez_obj:X:Y:Z]Rez an object to a certain <X,Y,Z> position relative to you avatar.
  3. A stop button that is visible always, perhaps at the top when minimized.
  4. Maybe move the dance button so it is it visible when minimized.
  5. [dialog] tag to create dialog menus from macros.
  6. [map:Sim:X:Y:Z] tag to use with llMapDestination*


If llTeleportAgent() ever comes to fruition, I'll add functionality so that the EZAD is a personal teleporter.

I'll add some more ideas as I think of them. If you have a suggestion for an improvement please post it. Keep in mind that this next update will be a small one, so probably not any huge changes to functionality (like couples animations).

I've been updating/improving my Poofs and I just realized that I made the "targetable" poofs incompatible with the current EZAD, so I will need to update to make it work together, which might add a "target" to the EZAD. This will be a way to target poofs, but it may have other applications down the line (like hugs? we'll see ;) )

So, I've been making some new poofs which can be used in a number of ways, and I made one and I'm getting such a kick out of it that I wanted to share, since HUDDLES EZAD users can get the most out of poofs like this:



What it is a simple heart poof. But! EZAD users can drop it into their EZAD and add the following macro to one of their notecards:

[name]love|Love Poof hps|express_embarrased|/me blushes bright red

The macro will rez a copy of the poof, play the animation, "express_embarrassed" and emote "blushes bright red." It's really cute.

The update has been available now for almost a week. Here are the new features and bug fixes:

v1.0.4
Bugs
  1. Fixed bug with saying text on off chat channels.
  2. Eliminate times when EZAD says "PLAY_THIS_MACRO"
  3. Tweak map destinations, so that it works more consistently.
  4. Stop the EZAD from moving when it is rezzed on the ground.
  5. Eliminate errors when clicking "empty" buttons.
  6. Script - Dance Slave 9 was missing
  7. Worked in the latest version of the ZHAO script

New features:
  1. [rand:XX:YY] tag for macros. This command would pause the macro a random number of seconds between 0 and XX plus YY.
  2. [rez:X:Y:Z]Rez an object to a certain <X,Y,Z> position relative to you avatar.
  3. Added three buttons to minimize view: Random mode, Dance mode and stop.
  4. [dialog] tag to create dialog menus from macros.
  5. [map:Sim:X:Y:Z] to bring up map destination on your world map
  6. Stop button also works to now Stop All Animations
  7. Added "target" button for compatibility with HUDDLES poofers
  8. Added Cherry Pie Poof (YES! the EZ Animator Deluxe now comes with pie!)
  9. Added Anvil for dropping on peoples heads. *Warning this could actually get you AR'd. Use only on friends*


Here is what it looks minimized now:


Notice there are three new buttons when minimized.

Alright, I found a small bug in 1.0.4, but I don't think I'm going to do a full update because it is very minor and it's in the ZHAO script which I've left open source for anyone to fix. So here is the problem and the solution:

Bug:

If you enter 0 for the stand time interval for the AO, it will cycle through each of your stands quickly, making you contort instead of not cycling at all which is what is intended.

Fix:

To fix this, open the ZHAO script in the HUDDLE (it should be the very last script at the bottom of the contents. And change this line:

to this:

            if ( llGetTime() > standTime && standTime != 0 ) {

Found another bug, but it's a small one. Noting it here for next update. If you have "self animation" off because you clicked the "Me" button, the stop all animations feature doesn't seem to work. This will be fixed in the next version, but that will be some time in the future.

Feature request. If you target someone, you should be able to use their name in other macros. I'll think about how best to do that.

At the moment you can't say a pipe or "|" in a macro, which is a problem for certain kinds of potential commands. This is a note to see if I can fix that in the next version.
