I haven't read the other two yet. I'll look into them.
The appropriateness of that thread in question I based on Trolling (which i should have mentioned, but going back and editing a post is a bit of a pain, as i have to unlock it first). Considering that ever other recent thread on the topic has been locked, it should be no great shock that it was locked as well.

The thread "Are there any dance clubs without sex?" has stayed on topic. A bit more commercial then I'd like; but on topic. It's hard to answer that question and staying non-commercial. The question seems to have been asked in good faith.
I'll flag the "Rude" thread for review by the other mods. In the future if you want to get in touch with me, please send me a PM here on the forums.

Surely though, considering the number of people who do play different genders in SL, a thread of that nature would have made many who've at some point been villified for it (and it does happen) feel happier in their secondlives, and maybe not so isolated.

The gender thread is now posted as a help/seeking answers thread, thus ontopic. I've also contacted Lindens about you strife, as you obviously have a bias.

You may criticize my moderation, I consider that fair game, but you have turned this into a private dispute. This thread has always been on shaky ground but it's time has come to be locked: From: Guidelines Private discussions – the forums are a public area for the Second Life community’s use. Individuals who have a dispute with each other have other channels of communication to discuss their differences or communicate – private messaging, IM within Second Life, or chatting within Second Life. Also, threads that are addressed to a single individual or group are inappropriate on the forums, this includes slander or "naming names" in a posts title, starting polls about a particular resident or group, etc.
