I have noticed that some threads get AR'd and locked very quickly even when the tone is relatively peaceful.
While others can be 50 page flame fests that never get AR'd and Strife closes them because they are out of control.
What is the criteria that we should go by when AR'ing a thread?
Some level of Nastiness?
A Degree that it is off-topic?
Because its been Godwin'd, Pied or Panty raided?
Or something simpler like Colette is commenting in it.
I understand some people don't want any discussions here. Cool. You are boring, but whatever.
People who dont like the flaming, that I do understand. ANd Im sure many see me as guilty of a lot of it. Sorry you feel that way, but I wouldnt think AR'ing a flame fest is bad.

I would AR a thread in which there were direct, slanderous racial, ethnic, homophobic, etc slurs or things of that nature. I've seen these as part of a discussion but never directed at anyone or a group so I haven't done so yet. Hope I never do. Besides, Strife would probably see the AR about the same time he/she saw the thread anyway.
I also AR'd Ray's Land Prices thread. There was a kid named Ray in the 3rd grade who picked on me and I just haven't been able to let it go. _____________________
My interest in SL has simply died. Thanks for all the laughs

We very very seldom see true slurs and flaming on this board. Yes we argue, bicker, bitch and fight at times. But the pay info on file keeps out the worst of the trolls.
I don't understand why any of the recent threads have been AR'd, but then if I don't like a thread, I don't read it. I know at times I do argue and defend unpopular stances, but they are always beliefs I personally hold. If someone wants to call me a name, big deal. I have been called worse in my life I do imagine. If you insult one of my friends or an innocent, not always the same people, I will come to their defense. Oh well, I am rambling. Peace all. _____________________

Well, the traditional method for a lot of people has always been to AR anyone you don't like, if you see the slightest thing that can be trumped up as a reason, and to get all your friends to AR them, too.
