From: Drake Bacon The CD uses SLInstaller and my own SLRun scripts. The DRI is already included for NVidia chipsets. ATI drivers clashed w/NVidia, and thus are not included. Not-supporting Intel/ATI is a bad idea. These are modular anyways, and you should be able to do this easily. I'm just so sick of seeing "Nvidia inside"/"Nvidia only" on everything. Including a Linux distribution with SL.

I hear you. The distro I used blocked installs of ATI cards. I'll be building a new CD to solve that.

From: Drake Bacon Do we have screenshots of SL on Intel cards? I don't have the latest on my laptop, but I can download it pretty quick and try adn get a couple screenshots. I'll edit as soon as I do. [edit] maybe... seems the Lclient crashed when I tried to take a screenshot. Something about a jpeg size error. http://img63.imageshack.us/my.php?image=screenshotuc5.pnghttp://img162.imageshack.us/my.php?image=screenshotwx4.pngignore the black marks those are from the menus as I told it to take a screenshot, not sure why it showed up on one and not the other. Performance will depend heavily on your system of course. However it is playable (though performance seems down in the latest version from how I remember it 3 or 4 months ago.
