If you think you can be PHYSICALLY harmed by someone online, then yes, that totally justifies a carry-over of RL rules to the virtual world. (=_=)

But, otherwise, until you can reach across the internet and beat someone to a bloody pulp after raping him/her and refusing to pay; none of the RL laws applying to the "illegal" sex trade apply here. (=_=)y

personally, i think a can of whup ass would be opened in both cases.
virtual sex can be very very "real" for some people. i know of a few cases personally where one person was about to leave their spouse for a virtual lover. in one case the virtual lover turned out to be of the same sex. that was a suprise to my friend. my wife and i have discussed it and feel that as long as there are no expectations (ie we both know its just a game) its all good. personally, i dont get anything out of it. if i want sex i ask my wife. besides, who wants a sticky keyboard?
