You will look totally great (sliders or not!).

Should we be looking for someone with prim hair? :D

Sadly RL yet again interferes with SL. I will not be able to make the trip to Austin, as this Sunday I will be at church and later out scarifying un baptized children in the name of Halliburton. I love Houston! But I think Tom Delay will be in Austin soon…

Dang, Pulaski, I was hoping to use this opportunity to change your politics. :D Looks like that will have to wait. :( Have a great weekend--we will be thinking of you, and we will raise a toast in your honor!!

*The* Tom Delay? *The* *Sugarland* Tom Delay? Sometimes, the word "indictment" has such a lovely ring.

Flavian, it would be great to see you!! Do you need your politics changed? :D

OMG! Two more days until THIS!
10-21-2005 10:21
Sunday, October 23rd, 2:30pm (Austintime). There will be a meet-up for all Austin-based (or Houston-based, or Dallas-based, or --- hell, why not? --- even Dimebox-based, and so on) SLers.

And it's at that friendly little eatery on Barton Springs Road, The Shady Grove. And prolly? The weather will be PERFECT that afternoon!

So come on down and meet up with Euterpe Roo and me, and who knows who else, and grab you a bite to eat while you're there, too (the burgers and the chicken-fried steak's supposed to be reeeeeeal tasty).

http://www.theshadygrove.com/

Um ... RSVP! Memory.harker@gmail.com

Oh yeah: Visual reference at Shady Grove? I'll be the blonde wearing the lab coat ...

Yes, Sel, you will. As we will raise a glass for the absent Pulaski, we will raise a glass for you, and for Trin, and for Nala, and for Jake, and . . . ooops, I fell over.

Thanks, Sel!!!

A good time was had by all in attendance, which consisted of ten Second Life residents and one R. L. Person, who appeared to have been kidnapped from her safe existence and taken to one of the many fine establishments that help make Austin, Texas, one of the more desired places to live in First Life.

Notably absent was Katt Kongo, publisher of the Metaverse messenger, though it was later learned that Phillip Linden failed to approve the payment for her airline ticket in time for her to attend. One more good reason why these things should be scheduled in advance.

Did we determine if SL builds were leaking in to RL or vice versa?

Guys...

I. Had. An. ABSOLUTE. Blast. Even though Gnash threatened to grope me! *grins*

I must report, however, that Euterpe did *not* repeat *not* stand on the table and sing Blue by Eiffel 65. Her rendition of Margaritaville, however, was breathtaking...

For the record, I'm also in Austin. I didn't see the notice for the meet-up, and as it happened, I had a conflicting event scheduled anyway. Oh well... maybe some other time.

D'oh! :D

Chrest means 'breathtaking' in an 'asphyxiation' kinda' way not in a 'astounding' kinda' way. :D I sing like Edith Piaf on speed.

<hugs> and <hugs>

Let's do it again some time soon!

LOL Gnash! I'm sorry I missed meeting you all. This has been the week for everything to go wrong.. my computer had to be reformatted, and I lost everything for the paper, I had a stomach bug, we lost electrical power in half of the house, and more. Maybe *crossing fingers* I can make the next one.
