bummer that i missed the mchinima festival and the piggy-backed SL meet-up.. but, it sounds like it was cool! not that i'm surprised. :)

i'll have to keep an eye on this thread for future meet-ups..

oh, i can tell you this though..

almost every saturday night, i'm at Albion from between 8p - 10p until about 4.30a. i'll be there this saturday, as well. just so you know, Albion is basically a Goth/Industrial club.. alot like the old Limelight, you know.. the REAL one? heheh.. (Avalon.. feh! although judging by many SL clubs.. Avalon could be popular.. lol!)

anyhoo.. looking forward to whenever forces align to allow for both another meet-up and my ability to be there!

I live in NJ (Bergen County, 10 mins from NYC) and just started actively playing SL and missed the gathering.

Oh well maybe next time!

There will be a Boston meet on Dec 30th (tentative date), and I am going. I will take the 15 dollar bus to boston and come back the same night. Any if the NYers interested, drop me a line. Maybe we can get a whole lot of us together and paint Boston red!!!

Nope, while they do have kids party packages they have packages for adult aged parites as well, my company has had a party there and I know many other companies who have had it there. It is a fun place and since it has a theme world feel to it what better place for people from a virtue world to meet?

if i remember correctly, isn't Mars (basically) right across from the Winter Garden theatre? i went there for lunch when i went to see CATS shortly before it ended it's run.

either way, that would be a great place for a meet-up..

-

ok, i just read my last post where i mentioned Albion.. i forgot to mention how to find me. which, surprisingly, isn't that hard. you know how a goth/industrial club is full of black-laden attendees? well, i'm the one wearing a beige/tan corduroy jacket and blue jeans.. ok, so sometimes they're black jeans. and a simple t-shirt of some sort.

-

on another note, what about SLCC 2006? anyone know if there will be another official one? will it take place in NYC again? or maybe in Atlantic City? (it really would work nicely, with those hugs conference/banquet rooms.. ample lodging.. etc ;)) ..and if so, should we start planning it much earlier this time?

(and if going to design nametags again, i should DEFINITELY start much earlier on them! lol..)
