not alot of people live in north texas or they just dont care(i allready saw the ones that posted)

Not true, I'd love a RL get-together.

And for the person that asked, I wasn't the one that said I was in SW Ft.W, but I am actually in the Wedgewood area just south of Hulen Mall.

Houston get together?
05-19-2006 14:19
I am in NW Houston, last year I missed the Austin SL lunch thing, but I think we should have a Houston SL lunch. I am on the fappr map http://www.frappr.com/secondlife. Not many Houstonians on it, but this thread shows that there are a lot of us. Let us unite and rejoice in our digital geekdom. I was thinking of a June date so we can maximize the heat and humidity enjoyment factor. So what say you all for June 10th lunch somewhere in Houston?

Snowy Svan...

Another guy from Houston... no wonder I live in Svan on a snowy hillside overlooking the sea ;-) I miss quiet, natural beauty, hills, and the change of the seasons -- but I found all three in 2L ! (Also, in 2L I can walk down the middle of the roads and not get run over. Try that on Westheimer!) One way 2L reminds me of Houston: no zoning!

Also, there are several good comic and game shops.

Nan's is cool. I always visit that shop when I'm in Houston. Have since I was a teen. The last time I went, the girls looked too cool to be working there- that whole kinda nerdy kinda rock snob comic girl schtick. You know, the typical crowd that is probably higher in bisexual girls by percentage than other pigeonholeable groups. ;)
