Hello, I have been reading through the forums for a while now and I think of all the forums the "Meet-ups and Real Life Events" is my favorite. I have been playing online games for a long while now and I do my best to be very social, outgoing, and open about who I am in RL. Sadly through out the years of playing online games I have found that a majority of the people enjoy 'hiding' behind their avitars. Most for very valid reasons some purely to hide who they really are. Either way I always respect peoples desires for privacy and never push the issue. Though it is often funny how the people who hide the most want to know the most RL info about me, but, I do my best to remain open and honest with people.

I am your typical gamer nerd girl who doesn't get out much but I do enjoy meeting people very much. I just moved to Texas (Houston Area) and only have made 1 friend so far, a nice guy I met from my prior time in WoW. I am hoping to meet new people and make some new friends.

I feel a little bashful saying this but I have noticed others here have done so and even have been a bit blunt about it. As I said, I am looking to make some RL friends that hopefully stem from meeting in SL. I am mainly looking for relationships with other bisexual/lesbian women. I moved from California (near S.F.) and miss having the soft touch of another woman friend. *blush*

I hope this post finds some one in my area.

Austin, here!! Welcome to Texas!!

I used to live in Houston (in the Heights). Houston takes a bit of, um, adjustment. In time, you will find cool stuff like the Montrose (cool shops, very cool houses), the Art Car Parade (late March/early April), the International Festival (late April/early May), and a multitude of really great restaurants/bars/musical venues. I can make some suggestions--feel free to IM me in-world.

If you enjoying reading, Half-price books is great. There are three Frys stores. Also, there are several good comic and game shops. Other than decent mass transit, what else does a geek need?

I am in Houston, Greenspoint area. I came here from Salt Lake City, but I'm originally from New Hampshire. It was quite a culture shock for me, but I find keeping myself plugged into the computer and the air conditioner helps, lol. For the most part, I play myself in here, more or less. I don't have much to hide at my age, LOL.

I have set up a bi group here in SL and you are welcome. You will find me in SL quite often, I hope to meet you in game soon
