So? It's a poll open to all members, so everyone should have an option.

There's more US customers than any other country.

LLab is based in the US.

There is only room for ten poll choices.

If I were to do the foreign cities thing, then Mexico City would be one of the choices (one of the largest cities in the world). Se Habla Espanol? Most folks don't. Plus it's not a very good convention city.

Tokyo? Domo Arigato. Also insanely expensive.

Beijing? Not if you want to use Google.

I don't see where Garnet was holding up the discrimination card! Yes LL is based in the US, and yes, most users are located in the US; the poll would demonstrate this even with non-US locations included.

I also agree with Ebony that it's ridiculous to be able to provide options for everyone around the world, but maybe one or two capitals elsewhere might have been nice ;)

Hell, Michigan and Brussels, Belgium are very similar. :)

Hold the presses!! I live an hour from Hell Michigan and there's not any hotels large enough to hold us all. Tho, there are a few farmers in the area that would loan out the barns!

Tractor races anyone?

Ohh here we go again. US Company, US Servers, majority US Customer base.

Irrelevant, Irrelevant, and Irrelevant.

Personally I'm Canadian, if I thought it would've been a reaslistic choice I'd have offered Toronto. But even Vegas or Chicago is fine by me.

I vote with Pendari for Atlanta, GA. Although Miami and Orlando would be nice.

Toronto +August= Caribanna

I am there anyway.

Toronto > Chicago
Toronto> SF

Toronto would be an awesome choice, the Hilton there is my favorite in the world.

Toronto is a gorgeous town, I love it. I may be visiting there sometime this year! I'm a huge hockey fan so the home of the hall of fame has a warm place in my heart, plus I have a lot of family that lives in Toronto. The grandmother on my non-UK side was from there, and I regret I can't visit it more often!

Regards,

Toronto's a great town - I've been a few times and love it.

Dealing with money in a foreign country, even Canada, is a lot of added complications, especially when we're in works of obtaining non-profit status in the US.

Florida in late August / September is really sweltering... that'd be great for the Winter SLCC 2007, I think. :)

I think it is frozen over about now. I live in Michigan. Never been to Hell & back.
Do they even have a place for us to gather? Maybe they have a Grange Hall we could rent.

ooooOOOOOOOooo Yes! "Tractor Races" and a "Ho Down".... now yer talking ....

I am along the Lake Michigan Shoreline in Muskegon...so how far is Hell from me?

I didnt think they had anything other than a farmers field. We could bring campers and park in a farmers field. Done that here in Michigan lotsa times for concerts etc.

What do you call the Dam Site Inn?

There are other advantages to consider with this location: http://www.misheep.org/

If so I have been to Hell. If that is where Dam is located.
Heck I dunno where I am half the time. All the grassy fields, corn stalks and cows look the same to me.

I live in Houston so I suggest San Antonio instead. San Antonio has nearby river rafting, the River Walk, Sea World, and the Alamo. I recommend it.

My first choice would still be San Francisco. I want any excuse to go back.
