It's too bad - Live Help/Help Request was, almost without exception, always very helpful for me.
Happy 1,000th post, Dnate!

I love how even premium members don't get help anymore. I know EVERYONE needs support sometimes, but premium members pay for this service as well as many other services that have been ripped out from underneath us. Do they really think things like the blog are going to be enough? They barely post announcements on there. I login today and my friends list is gone. I want to know whats going on and when it might be fixed, and I cant figure that out because I can't get the support that I feel I deserve as a paying member. If my comcast services went out, I can get support directly online or via phone 24 hours a day. I'd be happy to pay a small fee for added support, but I believe between land costs and premium fees, I am paying enough money to LL.

From: Dnate Mars It basically is being taken away because too many people complained about the lack of Live Help they received Well if you looked at some of them. ( not all ) you wonder how in the world they ever got into Hive help to start with. I miss live help they were inportant in the early days. But afterwards it was a lost cause.

From: Herry Maltz Thing i dont really understand is why they are getting rid of them now, when we are reaching damn near 30k online... EXACTLY.. and growing... --------- Secondlife has undergone a support system turn around. All the lindens and the volunteers were given a week or two notice for this, and then the channel was turned off. Alot of people yell at the in-world liaisons about the decision, however it wasnt their decision to begin with. They had the rug pulled out from under them just as fast as the residents! The lindens have to get used to the new support system aswell, and its still changing. The whole new support system will be that nonpayers will get limited support, and as the more you pay - the more support you get ( which is how it should be). Seing that LL is getting better support goes to show you that not all bad ideas could be BAD at first. It might just be the first degree to a 180 degree turnaround -Joker
