dam.. boggie board is still winning, atleast you could have picked a cooler name lol.. no offense intended.

Yeah they screwed up the name.. The name is actually BOOGIE (not Boogie Board).. I was originally making a BOGGLE game.. One of my real life friends saw what I was doing and read the title incorrectly as BOOGIE (I was using a weird font at the time). So the name stuck, but the game changed.

It was also originally just a working name. I couldn't think of anything better.

I am not surprised that Boogie is winning in the votes here - it is really fun and a good fit for a casual SL game. Great way to hang around, chat, and (at least in my case) feel dumb

I lost alot. hehe

I played Castle Wars, too. Had a ton of fun blasting away and watching the physics enabled pieces flying everywhere. Tech Warfare looked really cool, too. I watched a game and was amazed at the pure scipting power of it's creators.

The particles alone are enough to impress.

I am planning on trying some of other games tonite. I would encourage everyone to go check out all of the great games that are on display - and maybe even search out a few that are not in the contest.

If you enjoy light, casual games, then please check out my game Danger Zone. One of my design goals was to create a game people could enjoy and even play well, while chatting with their friends.

Danger Zone is not a solo game like Boogie, however, so you have to grab at least two of your friends to play.

Dangerzone is a BLAST! Really! Just ask Sugary Bard. *winks*

I learned how to play in about 5 mins, and I'm totally hooked. The game is well thought out and the animations are so funny. Even the creator of Tech Warfare came over and played a round, tho he did his best to "dis" it to the other players, he still had fun, but ran a lot. *double winks*

I love SLictionary for it's simplicity and social aspect, and the pot that is building for the tournament is great fun.

The Collective is way too expensive and mostly a marketing ploy to get you to visit "certain" shops in SL.

Castle Wars is fun! A little hard to control the catapult, but a fun time anyway.

Boogie, for me, I love word games, but Boogie is boring to me.

Tech Warfare is way too lag making to really enjoy. A cool concept but the lag is bad.

Haven't played Blocks yet, so I have no opinion. And DarkLife looks cool, but I haven't played it yet either. I like my "quest" games on a game system I guess.

So far, Danger Zone ROCKS. Really! LMAO

Earn 60l$+prizes Taking Pics Of Blox In Play

Hello,

BLOX is an action puzzler hosted now in Arcadia 2 at 130/116/22.
BLOX Team is looking for the best picture of players playing BLOX (any version, Sumo or Classic) in Arcadia.
The photographer will be paid according to the following rules.

1. Three pictures should portray players under the following conditions:
-A win with a player's ball hitting his appropriate goal post (20 L$)
-A win with a player forcing his opponent's ball to hit his own goal post (20 L$)
-A win with two 'balls' colliding directly (20 L$)
Pics showing the same pair of players will not be paid.
Pics should be sent as postcards to the following address
[email]Blox.Sumo@gmail.com[/email]
Emails to Blox.Sumo will be checked everyday at 10 AM Game Time.
Payments will be made 1 day after submission.

The 60L$ will be paid out only if the set of 3 pics is complete. This event will end on the 30th of April.
At the end of the competition, the quality of the sets will be judged and the top 20 photographers will win a set of BLOX Classic and BLOX Sumo games (value 8000 L$ each).

When I looked over to see who was nominated for the games, all I saw were four good ones (to me). Tech Warfare, Castle Wars,Danger Zone, and Darklife. All these other ones aren't even going to get close to beating these four guys (in my opinion). Seems like the only competition will be between these four, just like the only competition between computer platform makers is between Windows [

] and the macs [

]. Who do you think is the best, your favorite four?

2 out 4 aint bad I guess. So much for polling.
