Hi, sorry for cross-posting this along with the Animation Tips forums, but it's related to animations and also a bug, and I think it's important enough.

Anybody tried to use an emoter recently ? Or an item that stops an animation then starts it right away ? It's shaky and looks silly now. Link following (sorry, BBcode is off) :

Suggestions are welcome...

Might it actually be a problem with the llSleep just after it?

I have an animation overrider that is supposed to yell at the other AO to turn off so that its gesure-like animation can run.

The AO don't turn off because an llSleep(8) lasts under 1 second.

I have the same effect.
At first I thought, I had Parkinson's Disease.

I don't like to smile any more...

I assume I have to stop smiling for the nextfew years

As a little update about this, the bug has been fixed by Soft Linden after investigation. LL will release a new viewer for mass download, as it's a viewer-side bug that has been introduced in 1.17. Basically the fix is a revert to the behaviour it was showing before that update.
So it's just a matter of time now, just be patient :)

You can also head over to http://nicholaz-beresford.blogspot.com/ and pick up his unoffical client, it already has the fix! (not to mention about 30 other upcoming fixes.) Do realize it's an unofficial client, and therefore if you feel uneasy using it, don't. But the source code is available, and Nicholaz's has a spotless reputation.
