Issue with llSleep()?

I noticed this today and submitted an inworld bug report, but I think the issue has been around for a little while.

Has anyone else been seeing an issue where llSleep() commands on attachments don't last as long as they should?

llSleep(8) lasts less than a second. I think the only reason there's any delay at all is because of an inherent delay between the sleep and the llOwnerSay() I put in to gauge when they were going off, as well as the inherent slowness of LSL.
