If I change my name from Robin to Elberoth, do my hit points go up? :p

(also, do I get extra points for the size of my spy ring?)

I don't know when the end is nigh, but I'm sure that when it draws near there will be Signs.

Anyone see anything resembling the four noobs of the apocalypse?

I USE THE GAMESHARK!

Infinate Energy ON!
Infinate Mana ON!
Level Select ENABLED!

The four noobs?

That would be Griefer, Scammer, Troller, and Beggar, right?

Shh Psyra don't tell them about the Gameshark! I managed to beat SL awhile ago and I sure hope they don't find out about my cheatcodes!

You don't need the gameshark any more, there's a special location in one of the dialogs in the Debug menu, you click on the right spot and enter Phillip Linden's birthday in HEX on the keypad and ...

I better let you find out the rest for yourself.

The steps to Navana starts with Orientation island.

I believe you’re viewing this game as a westerner. If viewed from a eastern belief then there are separate steps or stages to achieve. Such steps as understanding the GUI, customizing your Av, building your first object.

I've heard rumors that the end game has something to do with an Eskimo and some guy named Uncle Enzo, but I haven't been able to confirm that.

Actually, I think the end game is when we can upload our soul/consciousness into SecondLife near the end of our physical first life... so we can live on past the end of our natural years, thus achieving immortality.

You are all mistaken.

There is an endgame scenario and it starts with a popup: something like this....

"Despite our best efforts, something has gone wrong...."

I have gotten to this point several times lately...but I just can't....quite....seem to beat it. :D

I was going to put this in the off topic subforum but it appears to have disappeared. Who knows if even that was the correct choice. Oh well, back on topic.
.

GAME END is when LLAbs Banned you after they feel there is nothing more you can do for the game......... :D

Then I pray, daily, with all of my strength, that they get the damned asset server fixed FOR GOOD! :D But perhaps scientists will discover a way to achieve immortality before that happens...

You mean that Aleutian guy with the nuclear bomb in his motorcycle's sidecar? Okay, I quit.
" Until a man is twenty-five, he still thinks, every so often, that under the right circumstances he could be the baddest m***erf***er in the world. If I moved to a martial-arts monestary in China and studied real hard for ten years. If my family was wiped out by Columbian drug dealers and I swore myself to revenge. If I got a fatal disease, had one year to live, devoted it to wiping out street crime. If I just dropped out and devoted my life to being bad.
Hiro used to feel that way, too, but then he ran into Raven. In a way, this is liberating. He no longer has to worry about being the baddest moth**f***er in the world. That position is taken."

I don't see ever beating the big boss, myself. I ain't no Uncle Enzo.

I'm not.

But you know, the boxes made for a great Halloween Costume!

For me the end is the beginning: When I can make enough in SL to support my acct then that is the end of level one.

Level two is that I can support myself by playing/working on SL.

Level three is when I can support msyelf and NOT work on SL :D

end game = copybot for many we have closed our mall and lowered our tier
when we started SL it was advertized that you controlled your own creations
i guess thats not possable any more, so why not remove all permissions
that would save a lot of data and lag, also do away with L$. it wont be long before we see
a moneybot and a blackmarket, anything is possable in SL....
its just a game anyway right?

I do think people are do over-react to that bot. I have been able to copy textures for so long before that bot, and prim mirrors have exist just as long. Use both tool and you be able to create an exact replica of an object just like the bot do.

The end game occurs when we are able to determine what drives the quantum computer that calculates the forces and interactions of every particle in our universe....

And some moron decides to try pressing the Reset button.

yes i have used the prim mirror (sl fixed this by the way you cant drop scripts in no copy prims) and have tried the
texture grabbing but in both cases it was work, like building, easy yes but
not like saying "!copy UUID" and having it done for you. its not the bot
its the things to come that this bot shows how easy it will be.
SL had a permissions system that is being bypassed.... why even waste the banwidth
on permissions now? its down to trust anyway and as everyone keeps saying its the nature of the internet so lets do away with the permissions they just lagg us out.

end game?
12-13-2006 19:17
There are several games within this "game/metaverse" whatever you want to call it. Video game developers have been present in SL for a while now, and several games have sprouted. before too long there will be world of warcraft's and everquest's present within secondlife. perhaps large video game companies will start buying up sims and spreading there games into secondlife. "this is very very possible, just not enough money in it for them yet".

also as a response to the whole copybot issue, people have been copying things from games for years, since online graphics intensive games became popular sometime in 1997, if you have unique content and someone copies it, than you can instantly prove its being used, specially if they are using it to make a profit.....for example, if someone started an avatar business selling "unique" monster avatars and they started making thousands,..and it turns out they ripped the textures and shapes from other games and the owners of those games found out, lawsuits will be issued. just saying. :D

The end game is very simple, and there are two of them:

1. When you feel utterly content with your creations and explorations that you no longer crave any further exploration or creation. This is the Nirvana of SecondLife.

2. When you feel utterly upset with your creations and explorations that you no longer crave any further exploration or creation. This is the Hell of SecondLife.

Otherwise there is no end, because there is no path. You cannot have an end to something that has no path. The end is what you make of it.
