What we do need is to be able to ban people from our land while offline.

Say for instance we get blown up or kicked off the game and we know who it was.
We just go to our web page in my account and pull down a ban name or ban all section on our particular land parcel and bingo, it will translate into the game. Its a simple th ing to code in but can be effective instead of going back intot h e game to a situation that may still not be resolved.

This can be done. LSL can communicate with web pages both ways. Just have a script in a prim deeded to your land group linked to a website. It is possible but not exactly easy. :)

You can either have it add/remove names from the parcel ban list, or a security script that records the names and ejects them each time i spots them. I douht it will work for estate bans. I believe those all have to be added manually.

Please LL, do something about these attacks. Allowing unverified accounts may seem like progress in terms of pure numbers, but they are just numbers .. these are not verified, unique people. This is very deceptive. People are using unverified alts for griefing purposes. Either restrict the user of unverified alts, or allow for some ingame mechanisms for people to identify/ban/report griefers with success. If someone is found to be griefing with an alt, coorelate their IP to their main and take action against the main.

This is rediculous .. it is having an impact on the communities and the experiences of new players. New players who are griefed will be soured on the game. Also, I can sympathize with the plight of those who have had public events disrupted by griefers. In game events require a lot of time and effort to organize and incur costs in time and money to advertise. I feel for those trying to make a difference in game by offering events to have them disrupted by griefers.

Please take action to resolve this issue, and please .. refocus your attention on your customers. Recent patches have demonstrated priority and effort not focused on satisfying basic customer needs. The snapshot feature being one example. Customers, community, and common good should be your mantra. It seems that recent features have oriented towards satisfying investors and letting developers implement whatever features seem cool at the moment. Thats not to say that you aren't making good progress in some areas .. I'm just concerned about the recent trends.

Customers, community, and common good...
