And I agree with the fact that yes, any company that does not take all measures to secure thier client's private information has dropped the ball and should be held responsible.
As far as the kids on this grid, yes, there should be some sort of stringent age verification in place. Just the other day there was a self admitted 12 year old who I am sure you saw his or her posts with F* this and F* that all over them. These types of issues are easily preventable by having a properly placed age verification system. I in no way state that LL is perfect, nor even close to it.
And I apologize if my remarks earlier were a bit stern, but I was aggravated along with everyone else and this was compounded by the fact that over 60 posts were dedicated to the complete and utter bashing of LL. Yes, they make mistakes as have every other company out there at one time or another. I just hate to see personal attacks upon the individual employees who are trying thier best to rectify a very bad situation.
The once a month update would be a more stable solution ( not perfect). Perhaps with the recent rash of mistaken updates, LL will adopt a better testing policy before subjecting it's users to updates. I have seen several people post very good suggestions, although it would have been nicer had all of those suggestions been piled into one clean thread. I can only hope LL will read the many many posts out there and be able to collect these ideas out of the mountains of complaints
