What if ppl chip in and help out? Have you considered adding small shops to rent? or advertising.. or some way to keep the island.. it seems as a favorite place for everyone

im new here and spitoonie was one of the first places i visited and have taken my new friends there as well
this is sad I am prolly gonna open my new family dance club and drum circle on PG land, maybe u can relocate the sky drop thing on my land when we open. It owuld be an honor to keep it alive if I can help. please retain a copy of it you can so other newbs can experience at least a piece of it _____________________

Hello everyone again,
Thanks so much for all the support. I really enjoyed providing the community a place that was something that was a demonstration of the possibilities in SL and at the sametime fun. Yes, its dishearenting for it to have to go, but alas, economics rule the day. As some of you have surmised, over the last number of monthes, I have supported the sim with my own personal earnings made from the sales of my "Club" lighting. Unfortuantely I have seen a drastic drop in sales in the past two monthes and that compounded by the fact that I am in the process of relocating to a new city IRL, has really taken away the finacial backing Spittoonie has enjoyed in the past. Now having said this, don't frett, one day Spittoonie may re-emerge like a Pheonix from the ashes, time can only tell. Once again, I feel I can speak for the rest of the Spittoonie team, we really have enjoyed all your company and will see you out there on the grid.  _____________________
