I just wish I could buy separates. I have sizing issues and really would rather not have to get two hole 'kinis on account of my hugh jass.

If I understand the wording of the OP, you're upset that you aren't being CREDITED as the INSPIRATION for the micro-kini? Is that the real point of your post?
Boy, oh boy I can only imagine just how slighted the original do-it-yerselfers in Venice, CA (or is it Australians?) micro-kini designers must feel at this point, seeing as how you appear unwilling to credit your source of inspiration! The name, the cut, the shape, the fit, and the textures? From scratch?  It can happen, we're not in a vacuum here last time I checked.SL, like RL is an open market. OPEN. Build a better micro-kini, the VR world will beat a pixelated pathway to your door. Or your shop in Nauru (hehe shameless plug)! Although I don't make mico-kinis per se, I've got some pretty daring ones. To be honest, to my knowledge, I'd not seen either designer's bikini (I was aware of both of you though) work until AFTER I did my first few. I was made aware of both of your suits and went to check them both out. I saw that my stuff was different (textures, esp., cut as well), and felt satisfied that I'd not be presenting redundant work. I didn't and don't care to make what someone else has, although I've found a few items in world that appear to have been inspired by the same sources. I gulp, look them over, and move on. I'm not interested in credit for inspiring a copy/revamp. I'd rather (and have) hear from folks that found what I did spurred them to go and make things they were interested in that they didn't see on the market. That's the reason I started to design. I wanted stuff I couldn't find inworld ready-made. Just wish my sewing skills IRL were as good as my PS skills! If she wasn't inspired by you, I'd hope you could just move on and enjoy your own designing efforts. _____________________

Although the micro 'kini isn't really an "original idea" I hear your frustration. I've got a few of your suits, and if I want another, your's is the only store I'll shop at. (I won't step foot on that other person's sim, haven't been there for myself in almost a year now (though I've been dragged there with a friend or two, HEY! maybe after this they'll ban me and I can avoid trips there altogether.) I'm still waiting to hear back from ya on my special 'kini...how's it coming along you Master of the Micro 'kini? This thread will probably be locked soon...hope this gets in. different strokes for different folks. i on the other hand wont shop at the original posters store it is under quality and over priced. |

I hate to rain on both your parades, but I designed this exclusive Bubble Bobble micro in beta for Launa Fauna. I had to enlarge it for my avatar to avoid a wardrobe malfunction. The bottoms are by Doc Eldritch, as my version was so risque it did not EVEN COME WITH BOTTOMS.
 PS - the hole in the butt in Ace's version is a feature we all appreciate  _____________________

I hate to rain on both your parades, but I designed this exclusive Bubble Bobble micro in beta for Launa Fauna. I had to enlarge it for my avatar to avoid a wardrobe malfunction. The bottoms are by Doc Eldritch, as my version was so risque it did not EVEN COME WITH BOTTOMS.
