Actually Giddeon first and foremost by resulting to such things as saying ppl are inserting there own life losses and failures because ppl make an observation of how something was "Advertise" as how it was goin be done yet it wasn't THAT is truly highschool cus the only ppl I see resulting to mud-slinging are ppl which from what there saying I would assume know Willow well further prooving my point.. and Second anywhere u go in sl ppl can tell u that most contests aren't done on sheer ethics of rules but on popularity as it would seem, and I don't see myself acting like I am in highschool by simply making an observation, its u all who seem it a nessicary point to try and point out willow is a kind loving person (which I have no doubt she is) but it in all honesty wether ur a bitch or a saint it really should matter if ur goin run a "supposed" contest on ethics rather then popularity


P.S. and all u ppl jumping to her defense chill already I said congrats twice to both willow and trinitee, MY issue is not with either of them so stop acting like u know what ur talking about with out fully reading the thread

You say personality should not be considered. In which case it should have been based solely on looks. Elika still made the correct choice, but do you think she is going to chose someone that is an asshole to represent her company for the next 6 months? No, she is gonna chose someone who is attractive, someone who is well liked in the community and someone who has and would continue to represent ETD in a positive manor. So if you do not think personality, association with the store and popularity should be measured in the decision process in selecting the face of ETD, then that is why you are not in a position to make such a decision. This post was supose to be congratulatory to the new faces of ETD but instead was turned in to accusations of the contest holder being unethic. Therefore I once again Congratulate all those involved and wish you the best.

First of all, wow...when did I miss this?

Anyway, my choice never was influenced by how much Willow spent in my shop. Nor is she a great friend (I'm pretty antisocial). Her and I have each other's cards because well, just seemed like a good idea because we were always crossing each other's paths. Why don't you check out my top 10, they could have easily been my top customers or best friends but they weren't...I went on how best they wore my hair. If I was going to go the best friend route...don't you think I would have chosen Nyte Caligari? Friendship, how much they spent...had nothing to do with my decision...AT ALL.

If you READ my original post carefully you will see that I said...AFTER I made my decision I could see it made the most sense because of all the points that I brought up (being my best customer, naming a pack after her, etc.)

I felt that I did the best I could to fairly look at each entry and deciding who would be the best choice. I said from the beginning it would be about fit. And when my top 10 came to my studio individually, Willow and Trinitee were the ones who fit my hair the best. As in literally fitting it...needing no adjustments.

So think what you want about my choice and how I went about deciding.....I can't convince you otherwise.

I was supposed to be excited and happy about this whole process cause it was fun...and definitely flattering and humbling. But now I feel that no matter what I do to try and make it fair someone will always have something negative to say. I looked at each entry..EVERY single one.....and I made my decision.

Elika, Hun I am truly sorry if what I said came out in the wrong way it was never my intent to make it seem negative. I honestly have nothing against ur choices I think they are great, willow has the look that I am sure will bring u success. I truly had no intention of saying most of the opinions I had in the forum until ppl started feeling it nessicary to make me out to be a bad guy simply for saying I wasn't suprised it was someone popular which can be taken in several ways.... It just took a less then postive one. I truly am sorry to Elika, Willow and Trinitee if this post or anything I said has upset u or discouraged u in anyway. I was just stating Somethin I observed and not always observation are correct

Elika does very good poster designs. She does a better job than most people here in SL. After spending hours designing great hair textures and styles, I'm sure she doesn't feel the need to spend hours on the posters.

Those are great design sources in general. The fact that you used the lens flare shows you've been watching Generally, the best rule is, when in doubt, leave nothing default (noise patterns, brush patterns, filters, etc.). I wear a lot of your stuff, btw. Cheers!

Josie, I'm sure you mean well, but my criticism was constructive and offered resources that anyone can use for reference on the best of the best in the design field. Whatever you do, it's best to endeavor to do it as well as you can. Best, FV
