The Original G-Spot did close.. but we use the name still, we still have the original group and we still hold events every once in awhile. It's just not as frequent as it used to be. We call them reunions. It's not so much that the club doesn't exist anymore, for us it is the principle behind it all. It's not weather or not the name is copyrighted, it's simply the fact that The G-Spot was one of the most remembered sex/dance clubs in SL. Alot of the ideas we came up with at that club are still being used by current club owners now. The G-Spot is a part of SL history, using the name now takes away from that, especially when it's people that didn't create the name themselves. They can use the name, there is nothing saying they can't, it's not copyrighted, it's not trademarked. But in the same sense, and I am sure Gabriella feels the same way I do about it, we have a sense of ownership to that name. Who cares if the club is no longer open on a permanent basis...Never know it could open again. (not anytime soon) I created the name for the club in Feb 2005. We (Gabi and I) have had 5 versions of this club in 5 different sims over the course of about 10 or 11 months. I'd say that name pretty much belongs to us. Doesn't matter if it's closed or not. When people see the name G-Spot.... if they've been around awhile, they think of Gabriella Molinari and myself. Period.

Hi Everyone
I didn't mean to start a debate over the laws of copyrighting. My only agenda *if you can call it that* was to let those that loved our club know that we weren't the creators of this new one. Cannot tell you how many im's i've had asking me if we are back.
Wolfe is right, those that have been around for a long time will remember.
Anyway, as i said in my original post, i do wish them success.
