I always assumed that once you created your avatar, the account and all its inventory remained forever (because this is what some MMOs do), regardless of how long you might be away between logons.
But in the past couple of days, I've heard that your account/inventory are in fact deleted after a period of inactivity- although I've heard estimates anywhere between 1 and 6 months.
So two questions then:
1. Are inactive accounts deleted or pruned after a certain period of time?
2. How long is that time?
This might be of importance to people taking sabbaticals (me one year from now) or military folks leaving on long tours of duty.
