Hey there Torley,

The last response to my question was that you were going to forward it onto Kelly to look into this situation. Unfortunately, I may have sounded confused. I was not at home logged into SL writing up the question & I fear since I did not use the proper terminology my question was dismissed. Since then, I saw another great post/question which is exactly what I was trying to refer to in my post & even confirmed my suspicion that scripted items are indeed working even after disabling the run other script option.

In my case, each night before the start of our event, I disable the run other script option. I'm wondering how come the icon does not appear immediately or not at all at the top of my screen? Sometimes it will automatically appear on the top of my screen, other times there's a few minute delay. I've even experienced that it will not appear on my screen unless I TP off of our Private Island to a different location within SL & then TP back onto our private island to see that it is indeed "showing" disabled.

Once that's established, I take my seat which is elevated probably between 5-10m off the ground sitting on an object. Some resident's TP onto our island directly themselves, other's will ask me to send them a TP. When the resident arrives from the TP I've sent & is wearing a scripted device, multifunction gadget's or some other nifty item, I'll see it actived in green text on my screen.

I've attached a snapshot from the 1.12 release note which say's "A parcel with 'Run Other Scripts' will run all scripts." At the end of our event each night, I enable the run other script option & notice a slew of different devices that the residents have on actually turning on. So to say it isn't working is wrong. To say that it is working is wrong too. So my question is, what is it expected when we actually disable the Run Other Scripts option. If it is only affecting a certain height, what is the point of this feature & what was it's purpose?

Overall, I think this is a buggy feature or at the very least, very misleading.

*in an off topic question* As I mention the initial's TP throughout this post, I am wondering why does an AV TP'ng drain so much Sim resource when arriving? However when they TP off of the island someplace else in SL or log off it's as if nothing happened. To me it's almost like a doorbell when the Sim Performance dips really bad suddenly because most likely it has indeed been dipped due to an AV TP'ng onto the island.

In any event, sorry for the long winded post, Take Care & Thanks for your all of your help you provide as always.
