Yes, it harms me. Psychologically I get creeped out by the idea. Theres a six second warning on my land - 5 is still too much imo, but I'm giving some room, let flyers compromise too.
One day, someone will develop a way to actually turn an aircraft and leave a parcel (without knowing the direction they need to turn) in 5 seconds... but it does not exist in SL now, even without lag... therefore YOU ARE A GRIEFER!

You know, I was very much against these ban lines basically preventing people from flying over other people's property, but this war against Jonas seems a bit overblown to me.

It sounds like he has a security system that only affects the area around his skybox, which means that if his skybox is out of the way enough you may not even notice that it is there (and not be affected by it). In addition, he has put a delay on it that if you are flying fast enough I'm curious as to whether you would cross his parcel by the time the clock ran out. It also sounds like he has been willing to negotiate a compromise that serves everyone's need, but the ones crying "griefer" probably have no clue where on the map he is at.

Security systems may be rude, but in this case I would state that what he has done is between him and whatever trespasser is on the other end of his shotgun. If you have been harmed by his security system, then take it as a private issue between the two of you.

Hehe I agree... it's not like he's the only one that does this... just the most outspoken about it. Personally, I don't know where his land is, and hope I never have the misfortune to meet it, or him... but then, the same goes for other people with over-hostile security scripts. I've always ARd them when they hit me... and so far, without exception, action has been taken ... even if it's only a Linden going to have a quiet chat. I advise others to do the same... and also the reverse... if people invade your property and won't leave, then AR them too, it works both ways.
