sorry, the way polls are created in a thread leaves a short while between orig message and poll coming up
ive tried to have as many sides as possible put in, and to keep as varied but relevent to the series of threads.

Only becuase you asked, I will Kornation, though this poll is still biased no matter what you would do. People have alts, alts that can keep logging in other accounts, and make multiple votes for the same person.

sneak thanks for the info but please delete the message - its trying to be as unbiased as possible and is based on wha the majority beleive, not what is teh fact (otherwise certain answers could not be sitting next to each other, if ud like, id open up anouther thread called 'please vote in other poll b4 reading'
may not stop most but may help keep this open and unbiased
edit - thanks for deleting the message, yes people can use alts to vote one way, then again someone else can use alts to vote the other way, im just hoping it evens out overall
that said please dont use alts to multivote - its disrespectful and dishonest

I didn't enter a vote, or read further down. I just want to point out that the more this sort of thing goes on, the less non-interested parties think of ALL the participants. coco

This poll will be an interesting piece of evidence someday, even though 'alts' and such may make it a bit unscientific. Brilliant idea. It bears directly upon any 'excuses' that may be made later.

Of course speak out about Ginko is bad for my business. One Russian proverb says "You touch shit, you smell like shit". But as one private person with sense of morals and responsibility I decided I rather take some of that shit than stay quiet. When you stand up for what is right you always make the enemy. Well, here we go again.

I'm glad your so passionate about your sense of morals, although I don't think the target of your attack is right.

Bear in mind that we just got through suffering through a number of threads that painted Anshe and all people who "sell" land on private Sims as some kind of criminals trying to pull the wool over their customer's eyes. And we get those periodically. That's why I said "everyone." I don't know much about this Ginko deal, but it seems that there are more legitimate questions to raise about it than there are questions to raise about people who "sell" land on private islands, as opposed to renting it. One does get tired of all of it after a while, though. coco

Well, I'm sure Jeska will be closing this thread soon enough.
Before she does though, consider one thing. Key to most internet ponzi schemes is that the 'investors' do not know the real identity, location, etc. of the person running them. This is exactly the case with Ginko. No one knows Nicholas' real name, his address, etc. No one has any way to report him to the proper authorities should this turn out (WHEN it turns out) to be a ponzi. Again, while I'm no fan of Anshe, at least her real name is essentially public information if you look for it, and should she participate in any illegal activity, people at least know who she is.

I think the pinnacle of such devotion to cause may be self-immolation as it not only is quite spectacular but also sends a message of ultimate committment to exposiing the source of your passionate disfavor. As you've already metaphorically done this in the forums, have you considered being more concrete in your campaign? If you did, I can assure you that your "enemies" would become irrelevant to you.

From: someone Anshe Chung, due to self induced image damage for good of self 19 52.78% It is really beyond me how so many people can believe I would post all this just "for good of self". I guess this is one of those moments of personal disappointment that can challenge one's strength to stand up for what is right. Yes, I am deeply disappointed. 19 people here obviously not only think I have no morals but also think I am outright stupid. *sighs* I guess that is life.

Here's a thought for Anshe and Ginko: Anshe: if you are "really" doing this out of moral conviction and selfless motive, why don't you offer to put up your vast wealth as "insurance fund" to cover any loss that Ginko customers may incur if Ginko turns out to be what you accuse it to be? That would go a long way in convincing people that you are indeed a saint with selfless motives. Ginko: just put up simple monthly statements of investments on your web site. Since LL won't get involved by insuring deposited money, it naturally falls on some other SL resident to take up the challenge...

Nicholas admits that Ginko is not profitable, apologizes to the SL community and admits that I was right 3. Nicholas immediately begins to reimburse depositers their money, well, I guess everybody some share of what is still left This offer stand for 7 days. I put my money where my mouth is. Will the people who defended Ginko do same now? Anyone going donate one Ginko "insurance funds"?

How about Rosa Parks, Mahatma Ghandi, Martin Luther King, Jr., James Jones, Moses, Mother Theresa, Michael Behe, Che Guevara, Joan d'Arc, Harvey Milk? Self sacrifice for a cause you believe in is never easy and is certain to get you talked about. Just know in your heart that your cause is just and perhaps someday, someone will name a street after you or sumptin.

I already requested that anshechung.com purchase a public surety bond to back those who have have given that firm L$; no representative of anshechung.com responded. However, given From: Anshe Chung I will donate 500000 L$ to Ginko victims under following conditions:

US$2k to shut down a competitor is pretty inexpensive; Microsoft can't even draft a letter to Apple for that little.

Well, anshe, you have to appreciate that the whole basis of a ponzi scheme would be to have ALT shills. I suspect you're seeing a lot of that right here.
I think there is a lot of things going on behind the scenes here as well. I suspect the Lindens arent' just sitting still here.

But quite in character for you, Blaze. I could easily make the claim that the people who want to screw Ginko are alts. In fact, it would be a more reasonable conclusion to draw that a few people are practicing alt-shenanigan (rather than the majority of people in all of the recent Ginko threads who think the "ponzi" accusation is looney).
