-I paid 85,000 L$ for "Aimee's Fairy Tale Fun Time Open Mouth Kiss Wonder Ranch" located in the teen grid. Closed by the Lindens.

Gaah. I wanted to open "Roo's Eight-Minutes-In-A-Closet House of Bounce." Crud. The pioneers always get the short end of the stick. :D

It's partially my fault. I poked and prodded him in an attempt to make him come undone and start swearing in the forums. I had him *this* close when Team Anshe came by and ganked his ass in player vs. player. When the smoke cleared, a leaner, meaner (though still zebra striped) Merwan emerged, and I am rather fond of the new version that speaks his mind. Granted, it is still in that Merwan-esque double-speak sometimes, but whatever, it's excellent ;)

LoL. Merwan is indeed excellent. His jading has just surprised me, thats all. He's still my boy.

-Paying Jauani Wu 5000 L$ per day to follow me and laugh like Ed McMahon any time I crack a joke.

which is why my abscence from this list is a glaring oversight.

I am curious as to how this list was arrived at. What was your methodology for making this ranking?

I think you missed Flipper of SLBoutique fame off that list. He was recently mentioned in a New York Times article, and SLExchange was not.

I'll wager SLexchange is WAY more profitable.

In fact, when it first began, the founders planned to release all sales volume and commission data... after a month or so the figures got so high they stopped releasing that data so nobody would find out just how profitable they really were.

Last I checked, SLexchange was on track to make over $100,000 USD per year.

ROFLOL!

As one of the founders of SLExchange I can assure you we were not profitable within the time you speak of...

And could it be possible the withholding of financial data has more to do with the other founders planned hostile take over of my 40% share?

You were given the option to buy out your partner. Then you were given the option to partner with me and together buy out your partner. Both options you rejected. Finally you accepted to be bought out yourself.

Usually I don't talk about such thing in public. But when you keep telling people stories of "hostile take over" I have to set the record straight!

There's not any particular metric which you could have used to make the list 100% accurate and you would have invited criticism and commentary no matter what. That said, this list is pretty bogus. There are quite a few glaring oversights, a couple of inexplicable entries, and scant evidence or justification for those picks which you did make.

My own Top Ten list:
1. Anshe Chung
2. Anshee Chung
3. Anshe2 Chung
4-9. Umm...
10. God

You always seem to have to set the record straight. Are there any business dealings where you don't end up having to set the record straight?

Economic influence was certainly an odd choice.

Telling stories? Are you saying I'm lying? or that I'm not telling the truth?

Pray tell Anshe on what date was I given the option to buy out my former SLEx partner - was that before or after I was illegally locked out of SLExchange?

Revisionist history may work for you - but the factual record remains here in the archives, among other places.

I like Amiee Weber, love her new shoes for guys and gals and she is always nice and welcoming to me when I pop into Midnight City. She influences me everytime I see her to learn how to make sounds and gestures. :)

I like Anshe Chung. She has always been plesant to me the few times we have interacted and I still remember a very nice Sunday morning prayer and reflection moment we shared in Central park. :)

I like Wuvme Karuna. Her Snapzilla pics are always hilarious and we had a blast making over a newbie one morning all the while fighting over who got to buy said newbie everything. :)

Shaun Altman...seen ya around. *Thumbs up.

Cristiano Midnight - Thanks for Snapzilla! It is THE first website I go to every day right after waking up and checking my email.

The others I have yet to meet in world but contiuned success!

-I paid 150,000 L$ for weapons and supplies to Neualtenburg contra fighters in exchange for political favors after their coup succeeds. Never heard from them again.

We spent it on beer and pretzels by mistake.

Yes, indeed you keep telling people blatant lies to create *your* version of revisionist history.

The option to buy out your SLEx partner was given to you after your fallout with him. But you did not want to run SLExchange without him because you very well knew that you are lacking the technical skills. And you better be careful, I might still have ICQ logfiles from where I offered to you to help you buy out your partner and where you rejected. I might also have e-mail somewhere from your partner mentioning the option that he would sell his SLExchange.com share instead of you selling yours.

So you prefered to cash out of what you might, at that time after all the drama, have considered one business without future. You were paid your asking price, no bartering, no negotiating. You were given all options. That now it is your partner and not you who is running SLExchange.com was 100% your own choice. If this makes you bitter then blame yourself and stop spilling vernom on the forums.

*Comes out of hiding to hug Merwan and tells him to leave this 'stuff' to those that do it best.

Ok... stop picking on the good guy - he is in an unnatural state, not his usual condition at all, not his usual milieu. I think he doesn't mean to be changing or distorting anything as it is not his true nature. He obviously has felt greatly wronged by the dealings mentioned and should not be hung out to flogging in public because of not holding to a logical timeline of events, but to a more emotional one. There is no 'right' timeline between the two. If yo u don't understand what I am talking about then please don't respond.

Thanks in advance for not responding!
