The upcoming group functionality should have something that is very close to public corporations. The only real difference that I see will be the lack of shares you can purchase and/or receive dividends in proportion to the amount of shares that you own.
I'm not sure I would expect someone to implement a feature or set of features which are so close to something that Linden Lab is basically on the verge of implementing themselves. _____________________
