i think that land owner was the subject of an open letter during the great Open Letter craze of 19-hundred-and-last-week. she's pretty happy with not selling and has been there forever from what i saw.

I'm surprised you got the others to shift. I only sold up because I wanted a parcel in Ulverston (the town where I live in real life) and was really attached to Clara, but didn't have the allocation so basically (because of RL ties) Ulv won. I know some of my other neighbours had been there since the year dot and seemed to love it there, showed no hint of ever wanting to move on etc... amazing how you got them all to move out in the mere month or two after I went. Not judging though, just saying. Do something nice to my old neighbourhood will ya Don't just hand it over to some land baron, but pass it on to someone who will do something thoughtful and constructive with it. I don't fancy seeing a.n.other mall with the same old set of vendors either, there are plenty of those, let's have something nice that the community can enjoy. Since you're asking for opinions

From: eltee Statosky I'd say stick with it... if they won't directly sell.. perhaps ask them if they would like to trade for another lot, more on the fringe of yer land.
I'd say don't stick with it. If someone doesn't want to sell that is their business. I feel a little personal about this since I bought original land in Crimson, 2048 meters. Stroker Serpentine bought the rest of the sim over time and was always very nice even though I owned the last chunk of land in the middle of the sim. Then he sold the sim to someone else and I got tired of being the only other land owner in the sim so I sold. But there is no reason to sell if you don't want to at all. Hold onto your land.
