Although disputed by some here (and believe me, I do understand why it is disputed
), I still think that by owning land and paying fees, one is in effect renting part of a server and therefore entitled to a proportionate share of that server's resources. As it is now, though, I actually pay so one or two others in the sim can run their big time events and drain the server: if some eventholder owns 10-20% of a sim and the rest is and would remain Linden Land, that sim would not last for long. It is only because other land holders pay the bill for such a sim that it remains profitable for LL, but are getting a raw deal in the form of lag and the server grinding to a hold.For me at least till this is solved, no more land.
