From: Knox Darrow You truly are ridiculous. You are saying that Mez found a way to break the system, to hack the core functions of the game to purchase the land? Please, go try, because no one has been able to do it. Have you noticed, the accounts didnt get banned for using a malicious script? That would be the only way to 'break' the system. Thunder, you know how he did it. When I tried his/your tactic, I was able to also. So stop playing dumb and save us all from your ignorance, please.

From: Sensual Casanova I just hope they bill you the minimum bid of $1000 for each one, I also hope that you have the money to pay for it... I agree. I think if you want your account unbanned you should have to pay the usual starting bid price of $1000 USD for each sim...and THEN they should put the sims up for auction anyway, so you can bid on 'em like everyone else. Then they should ban you again, and make all of your alts each pay $1000 USD for defending you.

That's odd, he was an officer of your 'SKY DEVELOPMENT' group. The one where there's 5 members, seems like with so few members, and it being your frist group, you might know the owner's name. Edit: ******And this is in your profile: Contact myself or Thunder Lardner for information on the best custom homes in the entirety of Second Life.*** STOP LYING!

I can't pull up the auction history, hbut he (you) won a few auctions for $1 or so. Keep digging, you're getting close to China, maybe you can make a run for it once you're there.

From: Gabe Lippmann I'm not sure this can get much better. I'm sure it could if he made more alts to post with.

From: Sensual Casanova Just curious, did you buy it with $L or USD? I know someone who bought some land from him, 10k meters. He sold it to them for 3/m, it was mature. They paid with Lindens.

great if it was purchased with $L it makes it very easy to reimburse the parties and reposess the land.

I know what it looks like....
05-01-2006 23:30
I know what it looks like, another alt to join the fray...but I swear I take no side! I do not know enough about Second Life to say anything either way (joined about two weeks ago and can't play because internet connection is crappy...so I just log in for 5 minutes before I go crazy and hit my head on the computer keyboard)
However, Knox is not Thunder...he met thunder about two weeks ago and joined his work force. I know knox in RL (and he will probably kick my @@@ for this...but what ever) I don't know the full detail of everything, and so thus I won't take a side at all...just pointing out the facts.
Now im getting back to EQ2

Convient, but true. My grammar structure is widely different then Knox's, but then again the conspirator will just say "zomfg your phaking it!!!" I will not lie, I know thunder but not well enough to stick up for him or discredit him(I tried building, but failed at it...so I joined that star wars sim...but my internet is way to slow). My interest here is soley for Knox, of course Knox is defending Thunder...Which is his choice.
Now is Knox obviously wanting Thunder back? Of course, Thunder is his boss. Is knox part of some evil conspiracy? Please Knox is only two weeks old as myself, he barely knows anything about SL (as I know little about it)All he is doing is showing loyalty.
*shrug*
(going to bed now. will check message in morning I guess)

I'm not taking any sides in this one either. I find it hard to be on either side as there is PLEANTY of blame to go around. I will make one interesting observation, though. Everyone always complains about the price of land. But then, when someone comes along buying sims cheap and selling land cheap, everyone complains about that too. Wouldn't you all like some nice mature land for L$3/m2?? I've always believed that EVERY SINGLE land auction should start for $1.00 USD or L$1, depending on which currency they're being auctioned in. I guess it's great to be able to talk about there being no land problem, and the land auctions being demand driven, when you're charging $1000.00 a pop to get in the door. What great talking points about a free market! Let's start every auction at $1.00 USD or L$1 and see what the demand level for new land on the grid REALLY is!
