From: Michael Seraph My suggestion is that LL allow us to pay tier in $L. That would take quite a few $L out of the economy wouldn't it? Do we really want LL to belly up? They don't gain anything by destroying L$. The power company doesn't accept L$ for payment, sorry. The only way this would work is if they resold all the collected tier L$ on their own exchange, and then you've accomplished nothing.

From: Magnum Serpentine No they don't There is absolutly nothing wrong with the economy. The only thing wrong with it is the Conservatives want to model it after the failed policies of Boy George Bush. Not to delve into a side issue, but George W Bush's policies have done anything but failed. This nation is more prosperous, more secure, and more competitive than at any time in its history. George W Bush will go down in history as one of the greatest Presidents ever. His predecessor, by contrast, will merely be a footnote in the annuals of Presidential history, his reputation tarnished by his inability to exercise personal control.
