From: someone Why are you so *vindictively* following up this one?
This is personal attack (a very inaccurate one at that) on my actions. From: someone Why has it put such a BUG up your ASS???
Again, references to said bugs in said ass are very personal and have nothing to do with land in SL. From: someone to draw more attention to yourself -- is that always the objective?
Typical personalization of the situation. Why I'm doing it has nothing to do with what I'm addressing. From: someone 2) to harass Anshe because you're jealous of her visibility and success in the game
Jealous? Again, you are devolving this conversation into an issue of personalities. From: someone 3) to stop more commerce because you're basically anti-business at heart
I could be anti-pecan pie at heart. Who I am or what my philosophies might be having nothing to do with the theoretical logic and facts of this issues. Prok you have to stop directing the discussion down a personal road. If you have something to say, address the issues and do not address the individual behind the issue. Make your discussion generic.

Btw, I'm not pissed at you.
I'm simply trying to divert you from a course where you will be banned and we will not be able to enjoy your insight. I honestly don't want this to happen.
I'm not pissed at SL, either. I am trying to bring attention to a very very serious fuck up of potentially huge proportions.
I can understand that Robin may not like Anshe - that's OK. However, give Anshe a grace period to divest herself of SL holdings so she doesn't get completely fucked over by this next patch.
I can tell you, there have been a number of ventures I wanted to tackle in SL but haven't because I always thought that SL would turn around on a dime and screw me over.
If SL had the respect to warn people they were thinking of making changes - then that would be fine. At least I could recoup my initial investments, but at this rate my investments are always in danger of going to zero, immediately.

Um, blaze, honestly, I see through it. I really do. So don't "go there". And if SL wants to turn on a dime and screw us all, well, we were warned no? I wouldn't expect anyone to do anything for me in this game, Lindens or otherwise. I see it as that cuthroat, once you scrape away the superficial niceness. I just think it's important to get in there and try to shape it before it goes to the dogs. From: someone Why are you so *vindictively* following up this one?
Because you attacked the for-rent feature Anshe and others managed to finagle out of the land-sales list for hours in-game, and pages, here, and never said what you were about: which was *going to try to make use of it yourself*. From: someone Again, references to said bugs in said ass are very personal and have nothing to do with land in SL. No, I think if you are pissed at SL doing something or not doing something, but you weren't clear on what you were about after harvesting info from others, well, that's a bug that deserves a look-see. Jealous? Again, you are devolving this conversation into an issue of personalities. Well, I'd be hard-put to understand what you were up to trashing this feature for several days and then doubling back and seeming to cry that it was going to ding Anshe. This appears very manipulative, blaze. From: someone I could be anti-pecan pie at heart. Who I am or what my philosophies might be having nothing to do with the theoretical logic and facts of this issues.

No, I don't buy that. I think people need to take responsibility for their actions in the game. I think playing hypotheticals and squeezing reactions and information out of people and playing both sides of an issue up and down the forums is manipulative, and should be called for what it is. That's not personal, it's about behaviour.

Prok, read my fucking lips:
I Am Not Against This.
I Wanted To Do This But I Wanted To First Make Sure It Was What SL Had In Mind Because I Didn't Want To Get Fucked Over Like Anshe.
Ask Schwanson. Ask Anshe. Ask Patrick Playfair. I Have Been Bugging People To Sell Me An Island Because I Was Going To Do This.
It's a great thing no one had an island, otherwise I would have been screwed over by SL!
Anyways. Stop trying to read my (or anyone elses) motivations, because it's impossible and you'll just end up looking like an idiot.
