If the Lindens can somehow provide a constantly updated list of public sim names on the Second Life web site, it would be simple enough to have a teleport html link to the middle of each sim. Like so...

Yamato

Maybe break up the list by letters, page A, page B, etc.

Have to have the webpage open, but easy enough to use. In the past I have been bored and not inclined to work on any project and would randomly pick a letter. Then use the drop down sim name list to visit sims that started with that letter.

There's a list available at http://www.roamsearch.com/regions.php that is public and updated. Unfortunately 1.7 broke the secondlife:// hyperlinks though. Hopefully enough people will report this bug and it will be fixed in one of the patches!
