Is Phillip actually the reincarnation of Ricardo Montalban? Is Ricardo Montalban... DEAD?

Philip is Billy Crystal role playing Ricardo Montalban.

It's not how you feel. It's how you look. And you look maaaahhhhvelous, darling Travis.

As far as I can tell, Jauani appointed a bunch of people as officer. What I meant to say is, SOME of those people are anything but sincere in any way, except to make a laughingstock out of the group. I would also add that Jauani himself appointed no one in any sincere manner, however sincere some of his appointees may be.
first off, how do you determine who is sincere and unsincere until you see them in action? you might have claimed to be sincere but you didn't work out either. the MJW took a risk with you and it didn't pay out. i can accept that in life there are risks.

From: someone
Pandastrong, Jauani, and Enabran's efforts (along with a few other, more minor, players in the farce) are only to get certain INDIVIDUALS to not be taken seriously. Or, more egregiously, to spread lies and slander about them. (But then, that is what those people DO.)
this is a ridiculous statement. you have absolutely zero access to the inner workings of my mind, nor do you have capacity to understand them if you did. i will explain why. it is because my mind is the direct link from the real world to the virtual world for the true essence of the justice that will eventually fill the expanses of the gridverse.

your accusations are unfounded and unsubstantiated, as usual, and for that you are nothing more than a tourist propoganda maker. you make a mockery of my efforts and despite trying to be above your shallow remarks, it hurts me deeply in the core of my being.

Ok, ok - I get it now.

This is all just an elaborate setup for SLTV's new soap: "As The Second World Turns"

Is Panda the father of Robin's baby?

Will MJW/PCP/FIC/XYZ complete their evil weather machine (aka land scanner) that plunges Second Life into a new Ice Age?

Is Phillip actually the reincarnation of Ricardo Montalban? Is Ricardo Montalban... DEAD??

Tune in to find out!!!

Yep you got it right, and it gets even more exciting:

You got Byzantine style coups:

From: Jauani Wu

..., as well as reinstating Anshe Chung as at the helm of the MJW pending free and open elections, which Prokofy Neva tried vehemently to suppress by performing a coup that saw Anshe Chung pushed out of the organization.
.

You got lies and deception to destroy other people's reputations:

From: Cocoanut Koala
Ah, pfft. But I do mind lies and attempts to ruin sincere people's reputations with them.

You got threats to silence opposition:

From: Jauani Wu
listen, Miss 1/2 sim tier level, together the MJW tiers 10 sims. you are skating on thin ice!

From: Jauani Wu
Next on our agenda is diverting the attention of the group towards lobbying Linden Lab for the permanent suspensions of Snowcrash Hoffman and Jsecure Hanks for great justice!

Damn, you even have a platform for all this:

From: pandastrong Fairplay

Come on guys what else do you want? This is as entertaining as it gets! haha!

Why are you doing this when a) the original group voted Anshe out and b) Anshe has created her own group after leaving this one?

My my, the bedrooms of the politicians of SL are busy this week.

Dunno, I think the return of J and the elevation of Pandastrong is just what the doctor ordered!

Actually I'm practicing up my speech for an officer interview later on in the week:

" The life of a superhero is a lonely one, filled with hardship and danger. The few
who answer the call must leave comfort, safety and often sanity behind. But
someone's gotta stand the heat and stay in the kitchen! Someone's gotta don
the oven mitts of all that's right and strangle the throat of all that's wrong!"

FYI Jauani invited me to the group as an officer, with no prior warning or remark.
I've been a friend of him since ye olden days of 10,000 prim sims where you paid $5K a week for the privilege of owning a home so, most obviously, I cordially accepted. I'll stick around and see where this leads to, but I would like to make it clear that right now I haven't the foggiest idea WTF this group is about and don't care much for politicking :)

If so, why is anyone against others trying to make this world our own, and want instead to keep it in the hands of a not-always-benevolent dictatorship? Why the calls against freedoms? Including freedom of assembly.

coco

Generally, Im against moving into a rental house and then claiming that I have more right to it than the propertyowner. Im also generally against squatting ... moving into a place, without benefit of rent payment or other compensation to the property owner ... and then claiming it as my own.

Linden Labs built this house ... and Im happy to pay my rent and be a good tenant.

All this noise about the supposed need for 'freedom' and the incessant shrill "calls to action" are becoming annoying to me. I think things are fine the way they are.

Well, I don't think things are fine the way they are, Jim.

But I do try to be a good tenant of SL.

I wish I could tell if this was a joke thread or not...

It does seem pretty ridiculous in either case.

Nolan Nash has been appointed to chronicle all MJW related threads and provide the links in one place for the benefit of all of us who were on vacation for the last week. This should solve the mystery of how so many peoples post count went up by 500 in my absence.

Stop making up your own idiot version of it.

Tsk tsk, Cocoa. In case you (or others) haven't figured it out yet, this is the latest, greatest satiric send-up. The problem with truly pointed satire is that most people who are being roasted are too busy taking it as an attempt at truth. Of course, this is usually one of the most precious aspects of humor within satire for the rest of the world.

For Great Justice, indeed. (chuckle)

If coco belongs to the group. It means the agenda is solid, based on the principles of our founding fathers and legendary work of scholars. Everyone is encouraged to join. Yet, if the next day if coco leaves the group, it's because the agenda has a nefarious and sordid motivation. Everyone must avoid this group.

No wonder why everyone is laughing.

I don't know what to think of you all

However this is what I would like to see happen in Second Life.

1. Everyone receave base pay of 2000 lindens a week
2. the ratings restored
3. More concentration on those of us who come to second life to relax and enjoy ourselves and get away from the Conservative work ethic
