Coup d'etat by Prokofy Neva? This made me laugh. Thinking about it, you can consider this BS group as a drama content scripted by some talented (in creating drama scripts) people added to SL, which is sort of entertaining to read about :)

This was absolutely not the case, Snowcrash.

this is precisely the kind of talk that gets one demoted from the MJW!

Ah, pfft.

When I saw that you had brought all the kids into MJW to play, I stepped down and gave Panda my spot. Till you kids get it out of your system, if ever.

Have fun.

You know, I don't mind you having fun and playing at all, and a lot of times you're very amusing and fun to play with!

But I do mind lies and attempts to ruin sincere people's reputations with them.

I vote MJW for stupidest group in SL history.

Seems a bit hasty; I wouldn't have thought that this was the first time Panda and Juani have both been officers in a group.

I think anyone still associated with the MJW group is ruining their own reputation. Anshe got out of the group ages ago and started again with a fresh group, free of the stigma of past events, and the infighting and ridicule which cloud this group.

Personal Attack! We will be voting on future AR actions regarding your post at our next meeting. I mean, this is justice, duh.

Psyra, unable to leave MJW alone, Jauani and others he made officers are making it a laughingstock. Then again, that's all those people ever do, is try to make things or people laughingstocks.

I don't have much respect for that.

MOST ESPECIALLY when they write one abject lie after another to do so. That indicates a shameful lack of skill in parodying or lampooning something. In other words, they're lousy at it.

No. I just offered to stop being an officer once I had assurance you wanted to be one, which I found in the forums last night.

I know a borked game system - in this case the group system - when I see one.

I agree. I will form a group tonight to address the borked group system. I will invite you as an officer.

these allegations are completly unfounded. if you cannot substantiate your claims, please keep them to yourself, for great justice.

Ah, pfft.

When I saw that you had brought all the kids into MJW to play, I stepped down and gave Panda my spot. Till you kids get it out of your system, if ever.

pfft, indeed.

I was also invited by Jauani and I accepted the invitation because after reviewing the issues and taking the time and energy to comment on them, I felt that possibly the group was not beyond hope and something positive and constructive could come out of it.

After yesterday's firestorm on group IM where both you and Prokofy kept blanket labeling all the new members as insincere and there only to undermine the efforts of group leaders (my summary) - I was left absolutely disgusted. Several times I had to remind you, kindly, that you should not use blanket terms as you were and shouldn't assume malice on the part of all newcomers to the group. Those actions show poor leadership skills, IMHO.

Prokofy doesn't want, for whatever reason, an open and fair election for officers. I understand the concern that at the current time, peoples passions may get in the way of deciding on the best candidate - but let's not rule out elections completely. I mean, it does go against 'fairness', does it not?

I have yet to decide whether this group is worth my time - it will really boil down to how the original set of officers react to upcoming challenges.

For now, though, please quit with the blanket comments.

Ok, ok - I get it now.

This is all just an elaborate setup for SLTV's new soap: "As The Second World Turns"

Is Panda the father of Robin's baby?

Will MJW/PCP/FIC/XYZ complete their evil weather machine (aka land scanner) that plunges Second Life into a new Ice Age?

Is Phillip actually the reincarnation of Ricardo Montalban? Is Ricardo Montalban... DEAD??

Tune in to find out!!!

I was going to say "let me know when this hilarious trainwreck is over" but I'm not totally certain whether I should even follow it anymore. Between all the gold-bricking, filibustering, reptilian power games, tiny factions complaining that everything doesn't revolve around them, and smiling politicians whose actions can only be explained by a belief that we are all as stupid as dogs, well...

I'll say this much. I'm building a Bowel Disruptor, and I know just what I'm going to do with it.

To whom it may concern,

Please stop sending me invitations to join this group, or any of the other half dozen groups that have sprung up to compete with it, counter it, outdo it and/or mock it. I'm not a joiner. I'm not interested. I appreciate the humor of it all, but I appreciate it far more from a distance and without the spam.

kthxbye,
Jon

? There's no ice at all and the time is right for dancing in the streets. Because it's summertime and the livin' is easy. Fish are jumpin' and the cottons are high. Your Daddy's rich and your Ma is good lookin'. So hush little baby don't you cry.

I prefer Ms.

Thanks.

I apologize again, Juro. You are correct that I haven't been careful with my accusations. I have never meant you or any other sincere member of JMW. And I apologize for my own stupidity that makes me HAVE to apologize again.

As far as I can tell, Jauani appointed a bunch of people as officer. What I meant to say is, SOME of those people are anything but sincere in any way, except to make a laughingstock out of the group. I would also add that Jauani himself appointed no one in any sincere manner, however sincere some of his appointees may be.

Among those who simply wish to make a laughingstock out of the group and its ideas (whether or not they belong to it, or may in fact AGREE with most of its proposals) are Enabran and Pandastrong.

I apologize for the inference that I was referring to everyone invited as officers, or to everyone invited to be members of the group.

I think you have it through my thick head now, Juro - and I'm pretty sure I won't make this mistake yet again! :)

As for elections, I never ruled that out at all. Prok, I know, prefers a sort of board arrangement, that other organizations use to ensure fairness, but I don't really understand that very well.

I would be in favor of elections once the group is actually sincere in its proposals. Not while Enabran, Pandastrong, and certain others, to varying degrees, are busy making a mockery of it all. No point.

The good thing in all this is - Prok and Anshe get together and others joined. Soon, other groups were formed. All these groups are filled with people who take seriously the sort of issues MJW originally raised. Consequently, the Lindens will take them seriously, as well. This is good for all of us.

Pandastrong, Jauani, and Enabran's efforts (along with a few other, more minor, players in the farce) are only to get certain INDIVIDUALS to not be taken seriously. Or, more egregiously, to spread lies and slander about them. (But then, that is what those people DO.)

Their efforts are actually not against any of the ideas the group represents - or, if they are, I don't know it, since they haven't really talked about any of those ideas at all.

However unfairly one tries to smear individuals, one can never kill good ideas, particuly when those ideas are founded on basic principles of fair play, justice, and equal opportunity for all. The ideas, being valid, just, and desirable, will always rebound in some form, despite jokers who wish to waste everyone's time.
