How much money do you make in SL?

My sales tend to wax and wane depending on what I've just released. Some months, I make very little while others I make a considerable amount. In the end, it averages out to be pretty low. But I'm not here for business, I'm here to create. Thank goodness that I'm not focused on business, as I quite suck at it.

I was just thinking the same but there's an Other button. That covers you and me and all the other spendthrifts.

Depends on what I do, varies really, but normally around 7/8K, of late its been more, but only thanks to the artistic wondergirls in this game

ah so the ones with high numbers are the fucking scripters that charge 6k for a frikkin script

oh i make very little i can tell ya that, scripters on the other hand are like, oh i make 50k+a month so think oh i shud charge more pfft

i cant make much money cos i'm merley a builder, cant script, cant afford a scripter cos i dont make much dont make much cos i cant script and the cycle continues in an infinite loop

ya know i dont think words can even describe how frustrated and angry i am, and can get at these facts

Calm down dear, They really *are* allowed to sell what they work hard to produce for how much they want, and where it *is* frustrating if you can't afford it, its how the market works.

I really don't know why. There really are plenty of scripters out there who script on the cheap, or just for the fun. You need to look for them.
Not to mention, there's nothing stopping you from learning LSL. I did, and my programming background is extremely limited (A little bit of Visual Basic in the mid 90s) and I'm not exactly brilliant. It took time, about 6 months before I had assembled the skills nessesary to make a worthwhile script.
You're not stupid. You can do it. You just need to work at it and not expect instant results.

Personally I can't script for fudge, cept some particles , and it frys my brain looking at it, but its just a case of patience.

Why don't you talk to Fred, he scripts.

I cud quote several phrases by Fred if i cud rembe it word for word but here's the gist of it

None of them ever got finished and he even stopped talking to me for a few weeks
