well, this is the thread for you photoshopping artists to post your version of what the Linden Dollar looks like! (I used a Canadian dollar for mine).

nice work Jill!! I think I will put Sukky's face on one now!

I already have a portrait of Sukky engraved on a rhodium pendant so I will use a version of that!

We need a contest to create a nickname the L$, like the Canadians did when the $2 coin came out. The Canadian $L coin was known as the "loonie" (mainly because it has a loon on it). The winner for the $2 coin was "twonie", which is what everybody calls it.

The US$ is a "greenback".

So what's a good nickname for the $L?

Buster

P.S. My submission is "metabuck".

I like Zero's forum posting guidelines:

Pop into a thread when you hit upon pure genious. :D

i think the linden dollar would come in crack form, or some other sort of abusive substance, and for change we would use the fresh squeezed tears... mmm tears

Since it's always been generally assumed that Philip's face would grace any manifestation of the Linden Dollar, I submit that we nickname it the philly.

Pure brilliance, Jillian!

I vote for that; no others need apply.

And I vote for the "Lindie," given only the two choices so far, since "Lollar" is too hard to pronounce.

I dunno... Seems like "The Lindie" has some negative connotations.

PhilBuck?

I like the Phil-faced coin but the material seems, rather, um, non plywood prim-like. Somehow a Linden coin should have that prim and proper (ha!) quality.

PrimBill?

Lindill?

Linduck?

Prick? (pri-m + bu-ck)
heheehhee

It's also good to keep the currency changing to thwart counterfeiters.

This is true, and it comes just in the nick of time. This specimin sheet was found by the Lindens on a bit of protected land that didn't have a return time set somewhere in Sedig:
