(OT) US under High alert!!

Interesting the Linden post was removed. I have read this but really hadnt much to say until now. I think Lindens are individuals as are their opinions. I do not see a single Linden opinion here in an OT post AT ALL representitive of company views.

Frankly Im more disapointed that it was pulled than that it was posted.

Personally, I choose to not to say if I agree or disagree with any of this but I will say I AM for free speech. If you are a Linden or not IMHO should have no bearing.

I guess Haney's post was removed, but, it was basically saying that Israel has done some bad things too, and that he didn't agree with Rivn and he didn't think that the Palestinians should be killed. And, I am sorry, but, it on every post he makes it says he is a Linden Lab Employee.

Yea Jack it does indicate he is a lab-er as does his name "Linden". But SO WHAT if he is an employee?

It is totally unfair and inaccurate to group any group of people and claim they all have the same opinion.

Sorry, I didnt get to finish my thought, I had to put up dinner. What I was saying was that if someone has the last name Linden, he is an employee of Linden Lab, therefore represneting Linden Lab. It doesn't look good for a representative of a company to give a political opinion. And yes, I understand that he is an individual who has his own thoughts and opinions, but, that is what second characters are for. I am sure Haney has a few different characters that don't have the last name Linden that he could have posted his opinon with. For all I know, he already has.

I will say this and then let this thread die hopefully its getting to the point of out of hand and we dont need that...............

People are all to often classified as a group when they are often not thought of individuals ,
Killing is going to happen
Someone always starts wars and someone usually finishes them and yet there are some that will linger throughout the times
and when that happens no matter who is right and who is wrong, ALOT of people that basically had nothing to do with any of the starting of that conflict will die and in most cases needlessly

I may have been a little one sided against the palistinians they are also stuck in a gambit believing that they are right and Isreal is wrong , They just choose to fight differently than we are used to here in the US.

They fight battles against the people as much as they do against a military, this is a type of warfair that we here in the US are not used to and dont understand . we as a people for the most part find it wrong to kill civilians intentionally and call it in the name of war....
These are things we differ on and who is to say who is right and who is wrong , I have my personal beliefs as Im sure everyone who reads this will also have...
I in now way Believe that ALL palistinians are bad people , nor do I believe ANY single race of people is all bad , there is bad and good in all people , some are just reported more by the media that inflames views that we then percieve those people as represenatives of all that Race... this is not right and I am sorry that the earlier post in all likelyhood came off as that,

I am going to let this post die or atleast boycott it and not post to it anymore because I dont know how to lock it (probably dont have the ability to)

We all need to remember that people all have different opinions and Posting that opinion should NEVER EVER lead you to believe that because you have that opinion that your Boss also has it , thats simply ludicrouse we are individuals not a bunch of droids

Being one of the major posters in this thread, I'd like to say I agree this thread should die out. It's going in some unfun directions.

As my goodbye here, I'd like to say something we all can agree on. There are no completely sinister or perfectly clean groups of people in this world and of course a judgement about people can not reflect on the entire group. So please don't get worked up over people who have opinions, cuz they don't mean everybody.

Here's to wishing the whole screwed up situation on Earth will clear up and EVERYONE can live happy, peaceful lives - except for maybe Saddam .
