From: Francis Chung Within the first hour, approximately L$20k worth of objects was stolen via update server attack, before I turned them off. ... Around 3000 lines of code from projects I was involved in (11000 lines of code posted in total) were posted. From: blaze spinnaker This was a complete non event. Thought these were worth repeating.

From: blaze Spinnaker You know, I gotta say Hiro, in the year I've been in SL I've never come across anyone who was using anything you've ever made. Nothing personal. You all should pay more attention to the world. I have only been here 4 months and have come across several of Hiros items. Vendors and pose cubes mainly. My gf even had a conversation with him about the pose cubes - they were a pretty big change.

From: blaze Spinnaker bugs are the cost of doing business. Right, break-ins and thefts are just a cost of doing business. Nobody should worry about that, you are actually supposed to get ripped off if you are in business.

Hey, I never said it was right.
But yeah, sometimes businesses do get robbed. It certainly doesn't mean the breakdown of society as we know it.
It just means we need to be more vigilant. Next.

Everyone: thanks for the replies. Hiro, FlipperPA, and Francis, to name the ones I remember, thank you for taking the time to answer my post. I appreciate your candor and help giving me a better perspective on this.
