The only irrational fear I have is of NOT dying. I know it's stupid, but I am really afraid that I won't die.

My fears range a long list, but i'll just list a few heh, i know that its all in my head but its still there dagnabbit,

I have Algophobia, the Fear of pain. o.o well really who doesn't these days?
and Amnesiphobia Fear of amnesia. I fear that everything will swirrel away to nothing if I lose my memory,

Apiphobia, Fear of bees. Once upon a time when I was a child I had a bee fly right into my mouth, I'm betting he had a fun time going through my digestive system, but still it really
hurt, :_;

I have a small fear about being alone, I can handle it if no one is home and I know their comeing back, but being completely alone, knowing everyone's moved on with their lives while i'm sitting on my arse typeing this, hehe,

and last but not least of the small issues that effect me, This is a huuugeee issue for me,

arachnephobia or arachnophobia, Fear of spiders.
One day when I was around 7 or 8 years old, my brother was 14 he thought it would be funny to trap a bunch of spiders in a box and make me put my hand in it, eeeeuugughh!!
it was horrible, even though they weren't poisonous and didn't bite me it made me cry the whole day, its really hard for me to stare at a giant spider without screaming or swearing like the comen truck driver,

Yay! :D

Sharp objects (see below)

I fear sharp objects. I got it when I was in the first grade. I went to the hospital with a ruptured appendix and had to spend three weeks in the hospital from hell (maybe the killer clowns owned it). There was a problem with IVs staying in me (a problem I still have today and found out it is probably genetics "floating viens";). Nurses would ram them back into my skin along with any shots or blood test needles. These nurses were not gentle they were satanic.

For the longest time thereafter I would use dull knives instead steak knives to cut steak and insisted that a steak knife never be set at my spot at the table. Parents couldn't get a sharp knife near me, etc. I went into the hospital in teh 4th grade for a staff infection in my leg. Nurse tried to take blood and I told her no. She got a shattered jaw after I kicked her WITH the foot they operated on (that hurt like hell after I did it). Strange thing is mostly I am ok if someone I know well has a knife or pin or I am holding it. Heck I love swords and have a small collection.

Now I am pretty good about my fear. I have donated blood, gotten tattoos, and a few other things I wouldn't have done. If I don't expect it though...I will have to shake violently to resist the urge to snap your scrawny little loser neck. Ok not actually what I think but that is what my body feels when it happens.

Recently a boss played a joke on me and stuck a pin through my shirt but didn't touch my skin....he almost got decked but instead I just sat there shaking and gripping the arms of the chair.

Well I have a fear of spiders and in fact reading the other thread about them made my skin crawl. However, I don't consider it a necessarily irrational fear because I don't act irrationally around them, they just give me the willies. Also, looking at some of the wounds that result from certain spider bites, some fear of the little buggers is acceptable.

Outside of the nasty ticks and spidies - I have no real fear of other types of wild life, just a healthy respect.

I am however, a little irrational about crowds. I actually do go out of my way to avoid them and if forced into an unintentional crowded situation I find I break into a sweat and have difficulty breathing and my entire being is focused on finding a way out of the crowd. Meaning that rather than enjoy a concert or party, if it is crowded (shoulder to shoulder), I will ignore the entertainment with a singular focus on escaping the crowd throughout the entire event.

I've had a terrible time on planes recently, not because I'm afraid to fly but because the airports and planes themselves have been so crowded. I literally have to control my breathing though exercises and thank goodness for my iPod, it does help. I also modify my behavior some and get to the airport much earlier than other people for my flights.

It's sad to say, but I enjoy parties in SL more than I do many in RL simply because of this.
