Either Heather Grasshopper (cuz I am but a grasshopper) or Heather Hornet (cuz it sounds like a slutty super hero).

Actualy, I dunno, looking through those none of them really pop out at me. I'll go with Torley's answer. ![]() _____________________

Hmm, they all suck
![]() Probably DaSilva. Silva is the most common surname in Portugal. It's our generic name for any sort of thorny bush, particularly the blackberry bush - it's everywhere around here! "Da" just means "Of" / "From" (feminine singular form). _____________________

I like the one I have, though I wish I'd gone with a first name more people could pronounce.
If I joined today though, I'd probably go with Cherry Fizz, cuz it sounds yummy and a bit pornish at the same time. _____________________

Well I could be Milky Coffee, or SL Brotherhood.
There are a couple of U2 ones - Clayton and Mullen. Dymtryk and Vantongerloo look cool. However it would have to be Lulu - maybe Louisa Lulu. |

Hmm, they all sound too commonplace. But the "exotic" ones sound yucky when I say them aloud. I know Daligdig ... that's Filipino. I don't like DaSilva only because in the novella "Noli Me Tangere" DaSilva was a bad priest who molested young girls ... something like that. It's a tough call ... only Snakeankle or Zaftig grab my attention.
When I chose my name, it was difficult in a different sense since there were a bunch of cool last names to choose from. I still wish there were more hispanic, japanese, and chinese surnames though. Like ... Monteverde, Corazon, Takako, Miki, Li, etc. Anyways, the animal theme is kinda lame to me. |

That's AMC you blasphemer! ![]() I think it's funny that there are two AMC models now with names - Pacer and Matador. When are we going to get Gremlin?! Whoops, just looked. Gremlin and Javelin are on the list too.. Would be Nolan Gremlin, possibly with a new first name.I've seen a Nash Pacer running around here someplace. Now that's going back. _____________________

Honestly none of the names there appeal to me much aside from maybe Caligari. But I love being Grimm - wouldn't want to change anyway.
They need more fantasy, literature, esoteric and mythical names on the list in my opinion. Interesting SL-historical tidbit: I notice Groshomme has survived on the list to this day from the beta-era. I don't think there are any others from that time. _____________________

doesn't Zaftig/Zoftig mean Soft? Means pleasingly plump, cute n chubby. shapely or perhaps even rubenesque. Mostly referring to the female chestal area (buxom!) - so yeh soft would work too ![]() _____________________

stay as me but..
05-07-2005 02:18
I would stay as I am without any doubt looking at that list.
Interesting to see that ' old names' have now vanished as options so some will become more and more rare. I wonder WHY NOT allow people to change their end name anyway, at least after a time, or a limited number times, even if for a fee? I am sure this is a thing many might want to do for seriously good reason, and if its not done to confuse or cheat in any way, why not Lindens allow this soon? No what I WOULD like is to be able to pay to have a UNIQUE end name guaranteed to be yours alone... now there is another money idea for Linden. Also I think why not allow couple/partners to change their existing name to either one of their names only, OR to a new together name? Again I am sure people will pay for this and want this. So in fact u can have a unique alone name then one day choose partner and allow a share of this name as a unique partner name only. That might make yet another thing to have to take care of in choosing a partner then if you are going to give this name away also.. ha In meantime I keep the name I have and none of the list much would appeal to me now if I was to join as I cant find meaning in much of the names for me.. |
