Just what the title says. If you signed up for Second Life today and could kep your first name, what last name would you choose? (Second Life's Join Page for the current list)

Personally, I probably would've chosen either Nala Naumova or Nala Bobbysocks.

*shudder* Disturbing.

Aimee Bobbysocks all the way!

Just seeing that almost made me want to get an alt.

Sondergaard! Sounds Danish or Dutch. And I'd chose a first name like Knut or something.

Probably something like Molly Marlowe or Kavanagh. I kind of regretted that I didn't use my real first name when I joined SL. And I'd go for another vaguely Anglo-Celtic last name to reflect my RL heritage. Plus, i've always sort of bought into that whole Marlowe-wrote-Shakespeare's-stuff theory, so the last name Marlowe is cool.

Caligari
DaSilva
Lulu
Mondrian

I personally think they all suck ATM, and we really need some more foreign names... preferabbly Hispanic!

Tried this one as an alt the day it came out, and there's no one ingame with that name. Looks like the Lindens wanted to show they had *some* taste. :p

I agree.

I would probably pick Pituca Jimador. When I visited the Jose Cuero distillery in Tequila, Jalisco, Mexico, they called the fellow who took off the maguey leaves in the field 'el jimador'.

I would pick either Matador or Caligari, though Fizz also has its appeal :)

From the current list, I rather like the sound of "Chandra Archer".

I find it interesting that my second choice when I signed on six months ago, Gupte, is still on the list. Gupte fits Chandra from an ethnic standpoint, but "Chandra Gupte" just didn't sound right.

That's AMC you blasphemer!

:)

I think it's funny that there are two AMC models now with names - Pacer and Matador. When are we going to get Gremlin?! :p Whoops, just looked. Gremlin and Javelin are on the list too.. Would be Nolan Gremlin, possibly with a new first name.
