Ferran, I never injected my own opinion into the content of the political discussion. I was simply speaking to Ulrika's character and the scope of her goals. For all you know, I could be a Libertarian and agree with you.

I have not said that I agreed with Ulrika's platform or her actions. Please explain how I marginalized you, Ferran. If I did, I truly apologize. I believe that my original sentiments echoed an appreciation for disagreeing with Ulrika's platform and position.

I will not get into what I truly feel about "How the hell does meddling in someone else's affairs benefit anyone in the community except for maybe Ulrika and her ilk?", because I see that tempers are flaring and I am just gonna be attacked.

If she feels the need to lead a HUGE crusade based on rumor and conjecture, try to force her opinion on everyone when NOBODY has asked her to, dominate the forums, HURT the other people with a vested interest in SL exchange by trying to shut it down against thier will, spread slander, and make a martyr of herself when she doesn't have a leg to stand on, who are we to stop her?

There have been enough accusations of impropriety and scandal that I've become concerned about the ethical practices of who I'm doing business with. I do not have time to deal with dishonest people. It is not unreasonable to ask for an explanation for the events that have unfolded over the last week.

I have temporarily suspended my listings from SL Exchange, until I can hear both sides of the story, at which time I will make a final decision.

That statement was made right after I was asked by Merwan not to use his name. I wasn't sure if I should continue as I value his opinion. The next day I was treated to a one-on-one discussion with someone in the know and I felt that there was then sufficient evidence to proceed with a public educational campaign and boycott.

Similarly, I will also resume work on my code as soon as Apo and Merwan resolve their differences. Until then it is frozen in its current state as a show of commitment to ethical business practices in SL. If and when it is released it will be open source, as promised before.

It's a little something I call making intelligent choices based on the information available to maximize benefit instead of dogmatically sticking to reactive emotional decisions.

With all due respect, Ulrika, but i am wondering: Who are you to talk in behalf of SL's "most respected" artisans? And does this mean that an artisan that lists his/her products on SLex doesn't deserve respect?
I think you are kind of going beyond the limits with sentences like this one, if i were in your shoes, i would rephrase.

Never trust a paragraph that starts with the words, "with all due respect".
