Just no "mass" negrating. In other words, multiple SLers acting in collusion to neg rate people repeatedly.

Boy howdy, 0 positive rates given while giving out 171 negative rates? That's pretty bad! I'm sure that Linden Labs enjoys your pointless donation since negative ratings are going to be removed pretty soon.

Liaisons have spoken to people before over giving out too many negs. Someone I used to know gave something like 250 negs over the time she spent here. She would open rating dialogs on everyone in a club, teleport away (so that they couldn't get her back), then negged them all.

Very few people ever got her back. I did, and she got pissed. Seems she could dish it out, but she couldn't take it.

I'll hold off on voicing my opinion of you on these forums, as posting personal attacks on the forums is against the rules (yet ponderously enough, arbitrary mass negrating dozens of people seems to be fine). Seems to me that if this is against the rules, they should say so somewhere. Just speaking to people who seem to be abusing the thing isn't kosher, cause you don't know when you can do it and when you can't. But isn't this whole ratings thing about to be overhauled anyway? Or do people just wish it would be?

In any case, it is either against the rules or not - and if there is some upper limit on it, that should be stated.

UT was doing his mass neg rating at the "Welcome Area".

This confused and upset many people including new residents and those checking out SL.

While this may be all well and good according to TOS etc - I doubt LL wants to encourage this type of behavior especially in THAT location.

So Under 15 ~ you just keep on keeping on and I'll just keep ARing you until LL gets sick of seeing your name poping up in they emails.

I should hope they'd be checking out your age too while they at it.

Another side note, the topic of ratings have been discussed extensively and the consensus seems to be that nobody really pays attention to how people are rated. The widespread arbitrary use of ratings for greetings and revenge have rendered them an utterly innacruate portrayal of the user's character.

However people DO examine the number of neg ratings someone has given as that DOES seem to be a relatively accurate indicator of how the user is likely to behave.

Hilarious. I was beginning to feel left out of the SL Experience. I don't have the heart to tell them it's elevated my mood substantially!
