Way to go! Let's counteract the counterproductive group with a pointless one!

Isn't posting a chatlog against forum rules? Maybe you can get Prok to post it in his blog and just post a link to it.

I have a better idea, though. Why not set up some kind of "news group" or something where people can go online and post public messages for each other to read. I think that would be way kewl! We could exchange ideas and everything.

Any thoughts about hashing out a thoughtful and carefully crafted agenda before hand?

We should have pre-meetings first so that when we finally do get the ear of a linden, it's so productive they want to do it again and again.

Note that the agenda doesn't have to be scripted to the point where everything is just cut/paste, but we should be able to provide intelligent rebuttals to some of the common and not really so helpful answers that Linden's sometimes give.

I am going to hold the first Resident Action Committee on Sunday, September 4th, at 5 PM PST/Linden time (8 PM for eastern folks).

This group will be more in line with what the MJW purports to be: an OPEN discussion forum where ALL residents are invited, regardless of tier, content, axes to grind, whatever.

ALL residents invited? 1am Monday morning for UK, 2am for Europe. Towing the Linden line for event scheduling even before the first meeting...

I'll be happy to bring this point up at the meeting Surina!! Based on what I can gather from how this will be run, I don't see any reason why there can't be duel meetings in the future (one earlier for Euro time and such) and one later for PST/EST. Since everything from the meetings is going to be put into one big pot (in a manner of speaking), having duel meetings should not be an issue I would think. Anyway, I'll bring it up for certain unless someone else beats me to it.

The point is, you're going to find as you do this, that absolutely every single criticism you laid at anshe's or prokofy's feet or whoever, can no be doubled back on you.

No matter what, as you go through this process, you have to exclude and you have to represent.

Yes, the bit about the NDAs and such was poorly thought out, but if you're going to zero on one sentence out of like 10 million than you have reading problems.
